I'm torn on it. On one hand, it's great that the top teams get rewarded for their play through 18 games. On the other hand, a #5 finish isn't bad, and you have about a 5% chance of winning it all. Though to be fair, you're kind of limited with bracket options with 12 teams if you want to do staggered byes.

I went to the Pitt game vs Miami last Wednesday. I watched a similar style of player, Michael Young, drill 15 footer after 15 footer. This was after he established a post game. it would be nice to see Kwan get some early buckets down low then stretch out the D with some catch and shoot mid-range jumpers. I think the close losses are a direct result of Noah's injury. We were good enough without Tree, but now just can't close. Antino has been very impressive, but he doesn't have the floor general/patience qualities that Noah showed over the year. I'm excited to see this team next year if everyone returns. It's actually sad that I have to add that last disclaimer in anymore.

I didn't mean a lot of potential They have the potential to be serviceable starters. You're right in that they probably won't blossom into much more than they are right now. But I think if they just shoot their career averages, we wouldn't be in such bad shape this year. The 3 spot was a black hole on this squad.

I think the potential is there between BJ, Jake and Reggie. Maybe Aaron? But I think he's developing into more of a 4. Hope something clicks with one of them over the summer.
