  1. I would consider winning one of those three to be a success
  2. And tree is back. Rejoice
  3. I'd think that KD wouldn't let him back in right away. You quit on your team, there are consequences regardless of who you are. I'd imagine his message is similar here.
  4. 1.) Both. Before we would have been the Miami/UMass of the league. Now we are beating them. Next step is to beat the Ohio/Buffalos of the league. 2.) Should be 6 wins, especially if we can avoid NIU on the schedule. Every MAC game but them is winnable. 3.) Winners win 4.) Defense, and I think so. TB will have the offense clicking again soon enough, if the D drops off a little bit with the departures of D-linemen, I think the improved offense will make up for it. I'm with GP1, 6~ wins next year, and competing for conference titles after that.
  5. Tree at practice but not in uniform per GT
  6. We don't even have to venture off topic to prove he can develop a big man. Have you seen Tree since his first year?
  7. Toledo looks defeated. I'm feeling a let down game.
  8. Methinks KD suspended him for whatever he did at the end of the last game and Tree wasn't a fan. Hopefully he wises up
  9. We're effed without tree
  10. "Stagnating" for a year isn't going to hurt us. I want to see big wins now, but if we have our "normal" 20+ win season and MAC championship, we aren't taking any steps back as far as recruits, and future seasons. Still, we're three games deep. Kind of premature for this conversation.
  11. Maybe the bad teams will lose and the good teams will win, regardless. The good teams beat the bad teams, so they have better records. I know it's no crazy, fun conspiracy, but..
  12. I guess I'm not seeing how being a late bloomer makes you lucky
  13. Not only that, but if Q wants to make the NBA.. well, a 6'6" point guard would be pretty appealing.
  14. Q needs the majority of the 1 minutes. Hate to rip on our players, but it's like we're a man down with CB on the court. Plays great defense, but it's hard to score 4 on 5.
  15. We don't need anything but it's fun to watch when they win
  16. You can say that again. Melo is way too tentative. Passes up wide open shots and layups. Pass first is nice, but he's gotta take the open looks, the defense doesn't even have to respect him. I don't know if it's a confidence thing, but it's hard to think he went D-1 with 0 scoring ability.
  17. 51% isn't very impressive, considering over half their buckets were layups.
  18. Two things: 1. Big Dog is good. Why the heck did he not play vs CC? Would have been nice if this wasn't his first action. He will dominate the MAC. 2. While we are very deep, and very athletic, we are simple terrible playing uptempo. I'm not saying play Charlie Coles style, but we are too undisciplined playing uptempo. The press creates easy layups, and our breaks turn into a turnover half the time. We're bigger than every single team we'll play this year. Slow it down and get the ball inside. We won't see a team that can stop Tree, Pat, Big Dog, Harney and Kwan inside.
  19. Yeah that was awesome. Keep winning and we'll see a bunch of 5K crowds I think. They deserve it too. I was shocked to see the student section full - and it looked to be 95% actual students too, not just randoms sitting there.
  20. Yep, wouldn't have thought it was lame if I didn't have something to compare it to.
  21. I think turning off all of the lights is needed. It was frankly a little lame with the lights on above the bleachers. Felt like a high school dance
  22. I guess I don't get it. We were up 32-13 at one point. If we can't get them minutes in a game like that, when are they going to get minutes?
  23. Is Big Dog hurt? Surely someone that hyped up didn't get 0 minutes on opening night. Right?
  24. Baylor has a pretty good defense
  25. Do you really think under three blocks a game in high school is an indicator of good defense?
