Along with Texas' stumbles, A&M definitely had some things going right for them on the recruiting trail. Buckzip's point seemed to be that the SEC wasn't that great because mediocre Big 12 teams could come in and win. A&M is ranked 24th, they're hardly dominating anyway. Mizzou took an extra year to compete, finishing with 2 SEC wins last year. Upon further review A&M went 2-2 against ranked SEC teams last year and beat old Big 12 foe OU 41-13 in the Sugar Bowl. So while they had a rough time with good SEC teams, #11 Oklahoma wasn't much of a challenge
