    Shocker... seems like all signs pointed to Pitt. Hope Kincade stays on board. Pitt just picked up another QB commit, so I'm not sure they'd welcome him back anyway.

    Wow. I don't doubt Terry, it just surprises me. It's not like he's been in legal trouble like some of Terry's second chance guys. Oh well.

    Sounds like WVU.. He was on the list of schools that Pitt originally blocked but perhaps since they won't let him back, that list is meaningless.

    Yeah pretty much of a d*ck move going after a 19 year old on twitter. Obviously shell could have handled it better, but Madden is a huge (in a couple ways) jerk.

    Your point? He was a freshman getting maybe 35 percent of the carries. The one game that he got a full workload he put up 160 yards against the seventeenth ranked team in college football.

    Yeah he is a stud. Was a 4 star recruit. Not sure where the above poster got the "average days at Pitt" thought from. He was a freshman last year splitting carries with Ray Graham and still put up some pretty impressive numbers. He has some baggage, but really, what 4 star are we ever going to get without any?

    Wants to come back to Pitt and Chryst said take a hike. Terry better have him on speed dial already. Wants to be close to home (Hopewell) for family reasons.

    Thad Matta plays a Big Ten schedule. He can play cupcakes out of conference. We play cupcakes all year, save four or five games. We've won the MAC and got our ticket to the dance a few times now. Time for more. Think bigger right?

    This is huge. I was excited when Pitt got him. Looks like he's not staying on board as its probable Paul Chrysts nephew will be coming to Pitt. He's one of the top (I want to say the #1 but i am not sure) QBs in this class. Kincade isn't going to beat chryst out, but he sure can win a bunch of games for Akron. Go Zips!

    I hate to say it but after the last couple years, my biggest worry is someone getting in trouble in the offseason with the free time. Fingers crossed no one does anything dumb, and next season looks very promising.

    Dejan used to be a really good writer for the PPG when he was the Pirates beat. Went to the Trib and is just a sensationalist now. I'd take everything with a grain of salt. Obviously he isn't making up the fact that sports are being cut, but as far as the reasons, who knows.

    By multi purpose, do you mean still able to host hockey? I don't really care. The U will do their due diligence and figure out the best investment. In my opinion, I think an AHL or ECHL team could succeed here, but whatever gives our Zips a better place to play, and gets me off of wooden bleachers is okay in my book.

    Campus is downtown now. They're the same. Put the arena across from Canal Park. We'd have a great arena district pop up too I'd say.
