The university is in c.y.a. mode right now, thanks to a few incidents spread across the past few months. That's not an excuse for Quincy. The code of conduct is pretty clear on the matter in his case. I assume he already went through the university appeals process. I hope that for his sake Q is allowed to finish his classes and get a degree. If not now, once his suspension is up. He won't be able to return to the basketball team, regardless. There are far too many hurdles.

I haven't been this angry about a Zips football game in a long time. I had almost forgotten how much MAC refs dislike seeing Akron beat the old guard of the MAC.

The UCF game this year had a pretty decent amout of people (including the cheerleaders and Zippy) try to do a walk with the team, but the team snuck into the stadium about a half hour before they told people they were coming out.

We just offered pretty much everybody on the Iowa Western CC roster today.

My guess is that Brian Walsh didn't get his extra year and will graduate after this season. That puts us at four open spots (Zeke, Chauncey, Quincy, Brian).

There has been a rumor floating around the FCS ranks for a while that Delaware and Towson are working together to try to move to the MAC. The athletic director at Towson? Mike Waddell.
