    I like the idea of helmet stickers. RB by committee is fine, as long as we get some production, and that substitutions don't telegraph our playcalling.

    Time to move on. I hope that Zips fans have shed some naysayers and defeatists from both outside and within our own ranks. We are 9.5-point underdogs at home. That line is absurd. I have the uttermost confidence that we will win our MAC opener.

    Tennessee > Penn State UCF > Marshall FIU > New Mexico State Morgan State < Norfolk State So ohio's FCS opponent is an improvement over Akron's. Big deal.

    You've got the wrong attitude. I am confident in the Zips. It's been years since I've felt that way. We may not win, but we won't embarrass ourselves. Personally, I think we have what it takes to make something special happen.

    It's not that they struggle to run the ball, it's that it's not a major part of their offense even against teams that they could run all day against.

    They're all borderline top-25 programs. I don't really follow wrestling, but I understand that this move makes the MAC a national power in the sport. Seems like a good move. Keep adding solid non-revenue programs like this who are looking for a new home thanks to conference realignment.

    Morgan State lost to Buffalo 56-34 last week. An FCS team that can score 34 points on a fellow MAC team, and we held them to two FGs. That's a pretty good sign, as is putting up more points.

    Have you ever spent an extended period of time in Akron's Field House when it's full of people moving around generating body heat? It's just as bad if not worse than what you see outdoors in Miami.
