http://www.gozips.com/video/Z360/Z-360_-_April_10 This is supposed to have interviews with all three QBs competing for the starting spot. However, I can't view it from work.
Looks like the story somehow got picked up by Britain's largest tabloid. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3034837/Rubber-Bowl-Akron-Ohio-sits-abandoned-hosting-rock-legends-football-games.html
Not surprised. Usually, if a walk-on in a program like Akron gets any kind of playing time outside garbage time, they move on and end up with a scholarship at a D-II or low major. Makes room on the roster for Dunn, too.
I only see it working if student seating is enforced. Make them sit in their section, instead of scattered in GA seating between grumpy old farts and families with young kids who are only there to perform at halftime.
Who cares if details in his info was wrong? This isn't the OSU board. They don't really matter here until people jump in to defend them. It doesn't need to be corrected. The general statement is correct. Boals is a part of a program that isn't as good as it looked like it would be when he joined it. Or at least that's the feeling. Perception is reality.
Yeah, I know we are still waiting on news for the 2016 class, but I thought I'd pass along something I saw on Twitter today. According to his father, Marlington (Alliance, OH) Sophomore QB Chris Pennell will be throwing for the Zips. This kid is the real deal. I really hope this turns out to be true.
