I looked at the coaches section which showed yearly results. The worst year (880) was the transition year that shows as Arth+Joe. Not sure where to assign that, especially if changing coaches causes some guys to quit school.

People keep banging on Joe… wasn’t there just a post that it has improved every year he’s been here? And been above the threshold the last two years? &nbsp How is that him not “leading young men”?

Agree. As a former OT with a big waist and even bigger feet, I enjoyed shopping Zips gear that actually fit. Plus it was great to pick up cleats for my three boys. Cheaper than Dicks and in sweet Akron colors.

This was me, except surrounded by Miami fans. I told them they were soft, that the floor mopper was going to tear a tricep with all the work he had to do from their flopping, and that they wouldn't shoot 75% for the game. Miami fan told me to get used to it, and I told him I’m used to being at the championship game, but they only show up once a decade. And that their wives all have plastic surgery. And that it’s going to be a long lonely private jet flight back to Miami. Thank you Zips for the greatest game I’ve been to in a looooong time.

You think we’d have to be undefeated right now, 23-0, to “even have a chance” at being “others receiving votes”? That’s ludicrous.

I know we lost most/all measuring stick games in the OOC… but at what record or what win streak does this team start getting AP votes? Especially if the voters aren’t as cynical as us fans and recognize it just took time to gel. Ole Miss is #25 and we have a common opponent… they beat this USA team by 10… I bet at 23-5 we get a vote.

Shout out to Hilltopper for the club tickets. An absolutely first class experience on the club level… hopefully the on field product improves and more people get to experience it. Exciting fourth quarter and a beautiful day.

We made a couple million. I made $100. The quarterback only got somewhat hurt. Buckeye fans said we looked pretty good. The all white kits looked slick for the road.

I’m going. My in-laws have OSU player tickets from a dude they know that played there in the 70’s. So I’ll be the one Akron fan down low surrounded by former players, being super annoying when we score first.

I doubt we’ll pull it off, but this is the first step towards the self checkout model. I’ve been to quite a few arenas with this setup, including the tourney game, and I really like it for speed.
