  5. Falcons vs Golden Flashes Football Preview: Talkin' sMACk The high-flying Bowling Green Falcons travel to Dix Stadium to take on the Can't State Golden Flashes on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons have the highest scoring offense in MAC play, averaging 49.7 per game. The Flashes are ranked second in the MAC in scoring defense, only giving up 20.7 points per game. So something has to give.

Given that pace, the squad would finish the season with 4,916 yards and 42 scores, which would both rank in the top three all-time. EMU's high-water mark for total offense is 5,010 yards set during the 2008 campaign, while the 1995 club led by Charlie Batch racked up 48 TDs. ------------------------------------------------------------

  15. Monday Teleconference http://www.mac-sports.com/custompages/teleconferences/101915FB/Bowden101915.mp3 Notes from above: • Two offensive lineman hurt hindered what we wanted to do running the ball • Taking a week off • I studied Baylor's offense a lot
  16. The extra practices would be invaluable for the progrum.
  17. Dana O'Neil calls the Zips the favorite with our rivals as a sleeper. She calls Fowler the top prospect. She has Noah and Pat on the all mac team. A pretty short article.Three sentences about the Zips.
  18. There is an entire thread dedicated for your specific concerns. I can't continually discuss the same thing in every game thread after every loss.
  19. Tons of reps in the offense. Wasn't that why he was brought here?
  20. BG looked like a team that had a lot of reps together. They were smooth, and everybody appeared to be on the same page. The Zips offense does not have nearly as many reps together with their plays and/or personnel. Our starting QB just started playing with the ones 29 days ago. MJ11 has almost seven thousand yards passing in his carer. The Zips execution needs cleaned up. Practice, practice, practice. There is no substitute or magic. Really interested in BG's 11/17 matchup against UT.
  21. I will rewatch the game on ESPN3 sometime this week and give my thoughts then. I have a difficult time evaluating what an offense and defense are doing from field level. Actually, I have two weeks to watch. I can comment on one thing now. I have seen Zips teams in the past take a butt beating while "playfullness" was occurring on the sideline. That was NOT the case Saturday. As a group, everyone looked sick to their stomachs, or angry. I hope it motivates to intensify practice. Overall, I thought they seemed flat Saturday.
  22. Mine will open. I'm using Safari also. http://www.cantonrep.com/article/20151018/SPORTS/151019334/?Start=2 Cut and past the link. Hit refresh if it doesn't work the first time.
