  1. I wonder if the staff will name a 3rd string QB, and what is the chance of him taking a snap?
  2. Savannah State is on an epic losing streak dating back to September 2013. Check out some of the point totals put up against them last year. Early forecast looks to be warm. Hustle Belt August Preview of Savannah State.
  3. Peterman replaced starter Chad Voytik (6 of 8 for 32 yards) in the first quarter and alternated series in the second before seizing control late in the first half. Peterman never lost his grip. A junior transfer from Tennessee, he completed 12 of 17 passes for 148 yards and an 18-yard touchdown pass to tight end J.P. Holtz with 44 seconds left in the first half. At that point, Narduzzi put away his quarterback yo-yo and stuck with Peterman. (source) I hope everyone was able to take advantage of my freebie of the year.
  4. Thanks for the kind words guys. GoZips has a bunch of nice photography. Eight photos from the Beacon. Fourteeen photos from the Post Gazette. Eighteen photos from The Trib. ESPN moving pictures, including Hundley's touchdown run.

  7. Looks like the white and yellow team were having some kind of communication issues. Watch the entire game, for some reason they had a hard time lining up in the first half. Must be a first half cloaking device.
  8. Hourly forecast seems somewhat consistent on the "showers". Hopefully it will be like yesterday evening's "showers" where I cut my grass for two hours and hardly got wet.
  9. Awesome. If you enjoy that, record the skills competition during the all star weekend. Here's an oldie but a goodie.
  10. Anybody excited for tomorrow? Someone in the NFL is!!!!
  11. Under.
  12. George Thomas‏@GeorgeThomasABJUA has distributed 20,417 tickets for @ZipsFB rematch against @PittPanthers ...Capacity is 27,881..doesn't include student walk up. Looking forward to his first completion.
  13. Your warm with 3, just not hot. Careful Icarus.
  14. The pushing continues by the same team over, and over, and over.... I'll go out on a limb and predict, if there is some kind of trumped up punishment, it won't fit the crime...again. Rinse and repeat. Nice history of a common "issue" in New England. I'll give them credit for this one. This one is between the lines, and they are risking very little (a 15 yard penalty that would amount to inches)
  15. Man's prediction!....boy's prediction. If our offense is involved in three quarters of those predicted points, ZN may crash.
  16. The forecast is for AM showers right now, the game is in the PM.
  17. Voytik will suck.
  18. Will Opportunity Knock for Zips with Pitt's Offensive Line in Flux? The Panthers rushed for 325 yards against the Penguins and allowed just two sacks on quarterback Chad Voytik, leading coach Pat Narduzzi to say he was pleased with the offensive line rotation.
  19. EA of the PD plays a "MAC by the Numbers" game. There is also a poll. Which MAC team has the best chance at pulling a Week 2 upset.Toledo at ArkansasAkron vs. PittBuffalo at Penn StateMiami at WisconsinUMass at ColoradoBowling Green at Maryland
  20. I think avid fans are just looking for answers to selling 20k if they see 12k in the stands.
  21. LeBron James keeps aiming to make a difference in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. Less than a month after announcing that he and the University of Akron were partnering to give guaranteed four-year scholarships to qualified students in James' I Promise program, the Cleveland Cavaliers star has joined with another local initiative to help out those students' parents.
  22. GT of the BJ asks asks coach who will play...."both of them" Birthday present is an award, ACC player of the week for a third string RB. Happy birthday Quadree, enjoy it now.
  23. Some nice photography from the game at gozips dot com. http://gozips.com/sports/fball/2015-16/photos/0007/index
  24. I was wondering what others thought of one of the Zips new formations (backfield w/ 2 RB, TE, QB)?
  25. Really, you need help? This piece will appear in a couple of weeks in ESPN the Mag. While one particular incident in this well written piece directly affected a life experience for me, younger Browns fans may find other parts of the story interesting. It will forever amaze me that this behavior is continually accepted, and celebrated, by this league.
