  1. Thank you for your analysis. Hard to get that from the radio. I'm looking forward to the day when we can analyze one QB without having to compare him to another QB on our team as a benchmark. IMO, this will cease next season one way or another. I agree with D.I.G, I would like to read more of your post game thoughts. No substitute for being able to evaluate players at the game when you can focus on just them.
  2. Isn't Jason Taylor going to be in town this weekend? Can he come early and give a motivational speech to the players? He is in a similar situation and seems to be able to take responsibility for the actions of the players and not blame a coaching staff.Source"It's us," said Jason Taylor, whose return to Miami after a season each with the Redskins and the Jets has quickly soured. "It's not the coaches. It's not ownership. It's not the fans. It's the players in this room that are doing dumb things and getting in our own way. "If you can't fix them, you've got to replace them. I'm not advocating anybody losing their job, but this is a very serious business, and it needs to be taken seriously, and I'm not sure everyone understands the magnitude of what we're trying to do here. If you can't get it, get out of the way and we'll get somebody else who will."
  3. Free Turnovers at ArbysThe BYU Cougars fumbled the ball six times against the Utah Utes, failing to recover one of them. Recovering just one or two would've been bad luck, but six? The Cougs also threw a pick and conducted whatever this was. That's a lot of turnovers.Via Utes blog Block U, here's a local Arby's offering a free turnover in exchange for a ticket stub from the Holy War game.
  4. This is a tough argument right now, because of the product that is being presented on the field. But, I always like to see the highest level of competition. We have the potential to achieve a high level of recruit here, examples are scattered through the NFL. If we dropped down, we would significantly reduce that. I'm sorry to say, I would stop going to games if we dropped down. Maybe I would attend games like I do the Aeros & Monsters games, one game every other year for something to do, but not really follow the team.
  5. Why is it so important for those that have given up on Ianello, to try to convince those that still have some hope, to give up? What does this solve? Do you think that if every person on this board called for Ianello's firing, it would happen? What exactly is the purpose? I understand those that have hope (or just big fans of college football) get tired of the same people posting the same negativity time after time, but don't get the other "group."
  6. Oh yeah, I think your right. There goes my free money this week.
  7. What do you expect the line to be? No line as of yet.
  8. When you are in the phase of our football program that we are in right now, it might be more of "how" we play. Three points, ten points, etc, is not exactly what I'm focused on while watching home games. To answer the question asked, I'll go with one.
  9. We might need to invite these Michigan ladies to Lot Nine. This is from the Eastern game this past weekend.
  10. How did that work out???A whole lot better than our game. Even without Vick for almost 1/2 the game.A whole lot better? I don't think so. I actually thought Vick's sloppy game reminded me of the Zips QB play. You can't turn the ball over constantly and expect to win, I don't care what your play calling is.
  11. "Far" & "good" are relative terms, so technically I guess you are probably correct. I may have my sights set too high.
  12. I know nothing, but I would be surprised if PN7 did not transfer.
  13. No, Unfortunately I think its more than that.
  14. I think everybody can agree, that we need better play at the QB position no matter who it is. You can't give the other team gift points and expect to compete. At this rate, this will be my most financial beneficial betting year ever. 3 for 3 slam dunks! Thanks Rob.
  15. Better coaching.
  16. Is our "Moore" in pre-med?
  17. -1. Everything that has to do with Akron. Toledo (being in the MAC) is a great model for what Akron should build to. I wish I was a Toledo fan enjoying the game tonight. Looks like a great atmosphere. They are playing decent tonight, and played very well in Columbus. If the Columbus game was in Toledo, it would have went the other way. Toledo is better coached than Columbus. Akron & Toledo are in the same boat, and Toledo is light years ahead of the Zips. Plenty to learn.PS Hats off to Boise for playing in Toledo, much respect, they are no Columbus State. ...and they are a much better team (about 40 spots) better than CU.PSS I wish our Moore was as like their Moore. Would anybody but me notice the difference if we switched tomorrow?
  18. Stats
  19. This doesn't sound like somebody that was ready to come in and start and give the team the best chance to win. :unsure:The fans get to suffer through his learning curve? Is that fair to us? We better get a payoff in the end.
  20. Most exciting thing about this year thus far.
  21. Reggie, back with the Bills
  22. 6 New Nike Pro Combat College Football Uniforms

  24. Here are a couple of photos from game day.Shirt sold in team shop. This was the line 5 minutes before kickoff. One gate open.Found in trash can just before getting to the gate. No more Columbus gear at games.Extended tailgate time. MH, I think I got to say "hi" to you. You were the only one with the Temple shirt on at the bar correct?
