I realize we all hate Can't, but are we seriously calling an entire school anti-American? I think you guys may be stretching it. Most Can't students are of the same demographic as Akron students.

I found this while surfing the web. It appears as some sort of University wide forum for new ideas for the future of the university. You might be prompted with some sort of user name and password window. I just put in my little university user name and password and it let me in. I'm not sure what non-students would have to do to obtain access. I'm posting this because I think there's a lot of ideas on this board that the university should know about. I say we tax the club level members up their eyeballs and give 75% of that revenue to the general admission fans to spend at local bars after the game. The other 25% of the tax revenue will be spent paying off the stadium .

Actually, he's full time and tenured. He's one of the best professors the university has, and they'd be more than foolish to even consider firing him(not that they would). You know, sometimes a little opposition is a healthy thing.

That'll be a first. I had a professor last spring who said he wouldn't mind watching Buchtel Hall be demolished...that is, if the administration is still inside and all the doors are locked. Of course Zipsnation loves Proenza, but we are surely in the minority among those affiliated with the university.

Wow, I'm not sure if the cams exaggerate it, but it looks like it's poring in Akron right now. Hope this won't put them behind any farther.

Did anyone see HuronDave's post on ncaabbs? This is a strong statement from someone who's respected among the MAC community. It's beginning to look like Akron will NEED to move conferences if we want a chance at achieving our Athletics Departments vision(whatever that may be).Now it's a matter of figuring out who wants to stay FBS, and who wants to leave. I see Buffalo, Akron, and Toledo as obvious choices for those who will stay. The rest? I think some people on this forum may have a good idea..
