  1. They should use it to pay for all the Rowdies to go to the College Cup.
  2. I think Ampai's absence from the Cup last year cost us.
  3. First, I want to give you high compliments for the College Cup Guide you posted on ASN. I know how much time it takes to do that kind of research, and yours is really well done. Zips fans are really fortunate to have someone like you making the effort to do this. I wish something like this had been available when I flew out to Portland two years ago to see the Zips play in the first round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Second, I'm wondering if you had any expectations for UA helping students in any way to get to Santa Barbara. The reason I ask is because I'm not aware of any university that helps students get to a tournament so far away. It's obviously not as easy as chartering a bus for a one-day trip up to the Motor City Bowl, for example. I just wonder if you know of other universities somehow helping students in a situation similar to this, and what kind of assistance was provided. If there's a precedent somewhere, it should at least be brought to UA's attention for future consideration. They paid for my hotel and bus to North Carolina last year. And they have been working on working something out for the last several days. Rumblings were that it was going to cost $200 which included flight and hotel but they decided not to help today.
  4. That's awesome! I propose we move the goal posts to the Info so there can final be a winning futbol team in there.
  5. It's like holding a World Cup in a country where they have never qualified for a World Cup.
  6. Yellow cards to both teams after regulation ended.
  7. I'm watching too. GO MICHIGAN!
  8. Call it skewed if you want but the 8 best teams in D1 soccer are left and we have outscored them 10-1 and one of those games was on the road.
  9. What no one is addressing is if UMass will join for tennis and rifle. If they join for these just forget everything else and let them in!
  10. How about this: Out of the 8 teams remaining in the tourney the Zips have outscored them 10-1 in head to head competition.
  11. Detroit out rebounded our Zips by 10. Detroit also had 12 offensive boards. Its impressive that we won by 8 with these stats.
  12. Well Egner is gonna get a lot of PT.
  13. Are these MAC refs?
  14. Zips forced a full time out 18 seconds into the 2nd half.
  15. Nik has had 2 nice dunks, one was coast to coast when Detriot tried to do a full court press. Not a bad half only down 1 at the break.
  16. Do we get a return trip from them to the JAR next year? Bardo has 4 pts.
  17. Last year we played the late game being the 1 seed so I would assume the 2-3 seed match would be the first one if it stays how it was last year.
  18. Wow GTown putting in a cold goalie for PKs. UCSB had 3 red cards due to they thought the goal scored with 2 secs left in the OT was offsides.
  19. These announcers are killing me.
  20. Looks like Kents freshman class is stepping up and filling the shoes of last years graduating class quit well. http://kentwired.com/basketball-players-ci...0-member-brawl/
  21. There will be multiple intro videos throughout the year. Also the video has different music.
  22. Zips 99 Milikin 51 Zippy with a triple double in the second half alone.
  23. I hears he was holding an hour long press conferance "the Better Decision" and it was going to be on espn in primetime with the proceeds going to paying off the refs for Akrons last football game so we could win just one this year.
  24. I was wondering about the exact same thing. Nanchoff always starts, what was the reason for him not playing an entire half? And not only did Caldwell not start, he didn't play the entire match. Really peculiar. I didn't start watching until I realized the game was online, when there was about a half hour left, so maybe I missed this too, but the box score lists Enrique as playing 0 minutes and having one shot on goal, what was up with that? The thing that I couldn't help but wonder, and maybe this was probably just coincidence, but could Kofi's absence from the field have effected the team that greatly? I think I am just making excuses for the team's loss, but if we can just say that him not playing somehow led to this, at least that really supports the argument for him being the most deserving of the Hermann Trophy! Nanchoff has been nursing his hamstring. He wasn't supposed to play at all.
