  1. If the Zips win 4 or 5 games and one of those wins is over Can't, I will be ecstatic. Here's hoping you're right. MAKE IT HAPPEN, ZIPS!!!
  2. JZ84, you are absolutely right, the Wizard was obviously mixed up on that, but Hilltopper has his numerology down pat!
  3. "7 is the number Nicely scrapped when Ianello arrived, starting the Zips undoing. 44-7=37 3+7=10 1+0=1, the perfect number, which Rossi exchanged for 44 completing the circle."
  4. I had tentatively planned to travel to Kalamazoo last year until the wheels fell off. Bell's was a big reason why. Always love to visit a good craft brewer. One of the reasons why I wouldn't mind travelling to Athens for a game: Jackie O's Maybe I should just quit bitching and head on up to the game and check out Mt. Pleasant Brewing.
  5. I think the current staff will make our returning players look better than Rob & the boys did. I am confident that a couple of legit players will emerge that were up to this point unknown. I cannot wait to see how this team and staff develop. 5 weeks and counting...
  6. I am puzzled by this complementary ticket deal. If the idea is to encourage travel, why comp tickets to the least attractive destination? It takes about 8 days to get to Mount Pleasant. Thanks, but no thanks. Ohio & Toledo seem like the logical choices to me. Good idea but poor execution.
  7. I believe Chisholm & Caponi are the player representatives, if I remember correctly.
  8. Hmmmmm. I guess this development kinda exposes the piece written by that Pittsburgh writer for what it was... Or some of the reactions to it...
  9. Well played.
  10. I wonder what Yoda thinks?
  11. How soon will KP16 be ready to start? By the beginning of MAC play? Or will Dalton Williams be our one year wonder? LET'S GO ZIPS!
  12. Marked another off my "try list". INCREDIBLE.
  13. Wow. Cooler heads are definitely prevailing in this thread. Something tells me though, if we transferred everything that happened at PSU to another institution, many of these cooler heads would be LOSING THEIR MINDS right now. Bias is a bitch.
  14. Rick Reilly weighs in. Visit Website
  15. You are right. Being a scumbag, powermad, self righteous, hypocritical child molestation enabler is not specifically addressed in the NCAA bylaws. I voted for death penalty anyway.
  16. I'm not as dumb as I look! Honest!! For whatever reason, my wunnerfull Verizon "smart" phone wouldn't load the link yesterday. I was hoping we were looking at him as OT. I will try not to ask anymore dumb questions. :tomato: :tomato: :tomato:
  17. This is the biggest scandal in sports history. It is sick and disgusting. Child molesters are the 2nd lowest form of human life, only surpassed by those who enable them. This makes the whole Penn State aura about doing things the right way a hollow and superficial advertising campaign. To think...Paterno once condemned Jackie Sherrill and Barry Switzer. Disgusting.
  18. GP1, Thanks for the deadspin link. Just spent a half hour reading Penn State stories there. Some of the comments after the stories are better than the stories. There is some outrageous, piss-your-pants black humor in there if you're into that kind of thing.
  19. In my opinion, I think the new staff is 3 for 3 so far in recruiting. I wonder where Mr. Kish fits into the spread? Any guesses?
  20. Finally stopped in to Thirsty Dog last Saturday. The "tasting room" is just a bar placed in the factory itself. They have a couple of tables set up and a few items for sale. There were some beers I hadn't seen before, like "Lock 3". Nothing special, just good beer. I did happen to see ZN.O's very own MaxZip while I was there! One of the brewery employees came out an gave us all (about 20 people) an impromptu tour and some background on the building. Since TD has been in the building, they have expanded distribution to 14 states. They have gone from producing 5,000 barrels of beer up to 20,000 a year. At the peak of Burkhardt's popularity, they produced 100,000 barrels for Ohio and near the borders of the surrounding states. Burkhardt owned 100 bars that sold their products. Pretty neat history lesson. It's great Thirsty Dog has rehabbed the old brew house. If you are in the area with a little time to spare, it is a worthwhile visit.
  21. Awesome. Thanks for the report.
  22. It's not just Daytona & Talladega. Over half the schedule is 100 percent
  23. I already told them they might be able to get a pic with Tress if they come along.
  24. My brother-in-law, uncle & I were talking about Tress being the cover story of the latest issue of Akron magazine while we were manning the grills. Response at the Keener compound was positive. What say you? (Those I was taking to were pro-OSU, need pro-UA perspective)
