  1. Boy, I hope that doesn't happen. The only time I would be in support of platooning quarterbacks is if there is a divergent style and gameplan surrounding each of them. Just rotating quarterbacks into the same scheme has never made sense to me.
  2. I'm not buying into what either one of you guys is selling. Everybody I know is totally pumped for the season...
  3. 185 beers in 2011. How many will be enjoyed in 2012? Predictions? I am ready to kick it up a notch. BAMMM!
  4. I am ready and chomping at the bit to see some football, but I don't have everything ready for tailgating quite yet. Workin on it though! AKSportsFan is so right with both statements! EAT 'EM UP!
  5. I have been to Lizardville in Bedford Heights a few times. They have a pretty nice beer selection and the place is actually set up pretty cool. Darkly lit like a bar with accent lighting angled toward the beer shelves. I'm no whiskey drinker, but the selection looked pretty good to me. Totally different type of staff than at the restaurant. They are almost like personal shoppers. Very nice to talk to. Beer-wise, their selection is pretty good. Not as big a variety as Red, Wine and Brew or the Brunswick Buehler's, but I would guess better than anything in Akron. A big plus is almost everything is available as a single. I am pretty sure Dr. Z would give it the stamp of approval.
  6. That is definitely NOT what Coach Bowden told us at the golf outing. I was really hoping to catch a session or two. Keep those daily reports coming, GT.
  7. I tend to agree with you and Zach, but I am trying not to get too excited. The additions you mention on the defensive side of the ball appear to be playmakers who will hopefully raise the level of play for the entire unit. The last few years have been very lacking in sacks, turnovers and TFLs. I think the quartet you mention could have a real impact on those 3 areas.
  8. 3 Floyds Dreadnaught comes in at 99 ibu's, so I was not optimistic I would like the beer, not being a big fan of the extremely hop-forward IPAs. It was extremely smooth and drinkable for being really large on the alcohol and hops side. It actually tasted quite balanced. I am going to try and score another bottle for the UCF game so some of you can sample. Check out the reviews...http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/26/1558 I did not open the Voodoo Doughnut. I am going to heed the advice given by a reviewer. Come August 30th, you are going to have to try the good with the bad. You have to be a sport. I tried the Iron City Light Mango last year!
  9. Badges!! Come get your official club badges!!
  10. The latest video ends rather abruptly. Does Coach say the guy who shows he can play with the fast motor Nic (Caponi)?
  11. Thank you, George! You answered some of the questions we have been wanting answered. Mangum, Turner, C.J. & A.J. were all question marks on my list. Now...is Carlton Thomas in camp?
  12. I just figured you probably had a dew beers before posting. No, I am not a big hop-head, but I got caught up in the cult of 3 floyds tonight... Pretty odd pair to find at a farm market. I will try and be brave and do the hop-heads proud when I pop the cap on the Imperial IPA.
  13. Hopefully you will continue that trend through the fall.
  14. The OBC tasting room is on my to-do list. I have only had their Jingle Bell Ale & Steel Valley Stout. Maple Porter sounds promising. Good stuff, JZ.
  15. Thank you. I will have to watch tonight and try to catch it. My co-worker (Buckeyes fan) thought it was great.
  16. A co-worker asked me if I saw the new UA commercial featuring Tress. I did not, but he said he saw it during Olympics coverage. Anyone else see it?
  17. I take back the nice things I said about him.
  18. He looks serious.
  19. Pretty impressive interview. Comes off as humble & focused. Just knowing that the kid listens to Queen and Journey before a game lets you know he's a bit unique.
  20. No doubt about it.
  21. I don't want to believe this is true... Top Secret Strictly Hush-Hush Consulting Position SIAP
  22. The schedule looks to be in their favor. I still doubt the Cats can get it done at PSU, but the rest of the sked certainly looks doable, on paper. Fearless Predictions It would be fun to be an Ohio fan right now.
