I don't think Bowden's gameplan is to have Woody put up Dalton Williams-type numbers. That's not going to happen unless the offense reverts to the Air Raid. From what I understand, Bowden is hoping Warren Ball can put up some Mike Clark-type numbers. That strategy will depend even more on the performance of the offensive line.

These projections are cool and everything, but the information I need to know is where is the "official bar" this year? Anybody know? Winking Lizard again or back to The Clevelander or somewhere else? Inquiring minds want to know.

If there is a choice to make between $1.1 million or a 2-1, we should take the money every time with a team of this caliber. To be extremely optimistic, let's say Illinois would increase attendance for a home game by 10,000. They wouldn't, but let's say they would. The Zips would have to charge $110 a ticket to recoup the money lost from a payday game. If you could get a 2-1 or even a 3-1 with a team that would sell out the stadium, that would be a different story.
