Honestly I've been undecided on where I'd prefer the Arena. Now with all the Exchange developments, I think it has to happen there.

I didn't experience the 1986 season so can't really compare, but I think all of your points about this season are valid. Everyone knows that making the NCAA tournament is the ultimate goal. Aside from giving us a meaningless NIT bid, the regular season title has become an afterthought. Is it a great accomplishment? Yes, but fans have bigger goals for this team. On a side note don't all schools cut dow the nets for regular season championships? Don't get OhioU fans trashing Akron for doing it. Not like we stormed the court or anything.

Regular season championship doesn't get us into the NCAA tournament! This is the point I am trying to get across. While it's good to celebrate we have to have higher goals.

True. Both would be tough with probably Can't being the more preferred match-up. Frustrating how things always fall right into OhioU's lap like having to play WMU.

The difference is Michigan is making the tournament regardless. Losing to Buffalo ended our slim hopes of an at-large and knocked us out of the rankings. It was a must-win game for us and we blew it. For a mid-major EVERY game is a must-win. Obviously we won't win them all, but we have to beat the teams we're supposed to beat. Gonzaga and OhioU do that. OhioU is basically already guaranteed a place in the MAC championship. I'm not going to try to put a positive spin on a loss that really hurt us.

So we will face Buffalo or Can't, while Ohio has to play WMU? Talk about a cakewalk for them...

Two point WIN. Something the Zips failed to do. I said they wouldn't lose to UB and they didn't.

Exactly. Even after a loss the team can't get fired up. I'm not going to act impressed with a 3 point lead over any MAC team at halftime.

I'll just point out the obvious. Gonzaga would NEVER lose to Buffalo. Even OhioU won't lose to Buffalo tonight. Playing to the level of our lower competition will never let us ascend to the next level. Play tough against good teams and blow out the cupcakes.

Since they are obsessed with playing from behind all season, I don't see a big win happening anytime soon. Just don't lose tonight and I'm happy.

So we can estimate than 2 or 3 people got free tickets?

I believe ZipsMBB tweeted "not that many" tickets are left. But that could mean anything.

The problem is every single game they fall behind. It is always close at halftime and we need to rely on big run to put the opponent away. Well that run never happened and surprise, we lost.

Yeah playing from behind every game isn't going to hurt us? I'm sure if we keep air-balling 3's and throwing the ball to cheerleaders we can come back Guess if losing now is better than losing in the tournament.

About time we wake up. Team needs to get motivated.

Because we'll be stuck wishing for an at-large like this year. We need to play better teams in conference and not have to worry as much about winning in the MAC tourney.

I only worry about home attendance, and YES those teams will bring in a lot more than directional Michigan schools and the rest of the MAC. Make the move now!

Actually found this Confirms Penn Station and Chipotle, but unfortunately looks like they are still seeking tenants to fill the rest.

True or it could be a Moe's. Didn't even notice "printer" as one of the storefronts. Could this mean a move for Kinkos? Just can't see a need for two printing places a block from one another. That would mean that a new building would be going up on the next block to the east. The coffee place is a bit odd, seeing as a Starbucks is already in the Exchange building. Hopefully they won't be moving.

Yeah the Q already had one of my favorite scoreboards. But Gilbert announced he wants to bring in a new one that's about 60ft, similar to the ones used in Houston and Indiana. Basically a scaled down version of the Cowboys Stadium scoreboard. I don't think UA could afford that, so why not just buy the old jumbotron from the Q? I'd like to see a really nice scoreboard like that, and the "ribbon" boards on the upper deck. Like we have at InfoCision. Great spot for advertising.

I have enjoyed the winning streak and ranking. But really all that matters is what happens in March. If we don't make the NCAA tournament it will be very disappointing.

I've picked the Zips to win plenty of times. But there are plenty of games I say the Zips could lose and everyone freaks out. Like the Buffalo game on Saturday. We could very well lose that. Overlooking a team after a solid win on the road yesterday. And you can't blame me for feeling discouraged when I see this team fall behind by 20 every game and have to rely on a big run to win.

I never called out any players so do some research first. I did say they we'd lose, but admitted I was wrong after the game.
