Visibility was the main reason I wanted it next to route 8. Would be a great view from the east to see a nice big arena next to the Infocision. Probably won't be seen if it were built in place of Lee Jackson Field. But at the end of the day, UA knows whats best.

After another slow start I wouldn't be surprised if it's a 5 point game, going either way

I was wondering the same thing. Haven't seen/heard anything yet. After the first announcement I heard something about being online the week after the game, but that has already passed. Really wanted a jersey or at least a shirt. Maybe the programming associated with customization is the hold up?

I've always wished they'd build the arena between Infocision and Route 8. Although the was probably mean they would have to close Spicer St or reroute. I guess building it in place of LJ Field will work just as well, and maybe being closer to dorms/housing along Exchange will help.

I don't think Seth Davis has ever seen Akron play. While I think we have a talented team, we are not playing like a top 25. We haven't played to our potential since MAC games started.

Exactly how I feel. A tournament team would have won those game easy, by 20+. We play to the level of our competition. The Zips will never have that "killer instinct" teams like Gonzaga, Butler, and VCU have. Our players are more worried about winning in the tournament, when we have half the MAC regular season left to play. I still think it's very unlikely we win the MAC tournament. They need to worry about beating EMU now and not anything else. Stop talking and play the freaking game!

I'm sure they will pull away. Shouldn't have any problem beating BG.

Well the Zips have just been standing below the hoop. Rebounds don't just fall in your lap, you have to unglue your feet from the floor and make an effort to catch the ball. Don't understand why we should care so much, since it's obvious this team doesn't care. I'm sure there are plenty of members here that would be playing better out there right now...

16 points in a half. Well apparently they don't care much about this game. About time the Zips stop talking about about the MAC tournament, stop talking about NCAA tournament, stop talking and worry about playing these games.

Very disappointing if true. A lot can happen in 5 years. This should be the #1 priority at UA, yet it seems like an afterthought. Keep dragging our feet and the basketball program will fall into the dumpster just like football and potentially soccer.

Exactly. Play like they did at the beginning and the end of the CMU. We just don't play a "complete" game very often. Seem to rely too much on a 10-20 point runs to get the team in position to win. I know KD hates to run up the score, but I think we need some big wins down the stretch...

This game is yet another example of why we need to stop caring about what the national media thinks of us. Just win and things will fall into place. Sitting around worrying about it doesn't do anything. If anything I'd want to be overlooked and the Zips play with a chip on their shoulder. Play with something to prove, but play that way every game. I don't care if it's Oklahoma State or freaking Coastal Carolina. Don't overlook any opponent. We thought we could walk all over CMU and struggled for most of the game. Can't blame anyone but the Zips. At least they won and let's move on to the next one!
