I don't think OhioU knows what these trophies look like, so I figured I'd show you what real schools celebrate about.... Did anyone happen to see the score of the Miami Redhawks game today?

HAHAHAH Love it! Maybe now OhioU "fans" can disappear again. Good luck making it to a BCS game now, like you had any chance anyway. Guess they can't play Norfolk state and Akron all year...

This is said before every year, and every year we end up with basically the same results as the year before or worse. I don't mean this as an insult, but the fans who watch practices always tend to act like they know more than anyone else. Does it really mean my input doesn't matter, because I haven't watched them practice? I never watched the Zips football team practice, and I said they would be terrible. They are currently 1-7. Most teams look good in practice, because you have no real opponent to judge them against. I've watched the Zips for all of the KD era, and I know what to expect when entering each season. Every year we get new players, every year we're supposed to be better. I've heard it all before!

We will play to the level of our competition for the most part. Probably have a few blow out wins and losses tossed in, but not too many. Season will be decided during the MAC tournament, like it usually is. OOC record, of the games know at least, will be 7-5. Most likely 7-7 based on the teams we'll potentially play in the PR tournament.

Refs give Akron two challenges in a row? hell has frozen over... Can't expect to get any calls go our way for the rest of the game

I just don't see why they don't try Pohl. We have nothing to lose! I understand Bowden is probably showing a bit of loyalty to Williams, be at this point I just want to win.

Haven't even gotten a first down yet. I don't know how they expect to win when you start a games down 17-0, 14-0.

I think it's about time to move on from Williams. He hasn't really put up good numbers since the huge game against Miami. A lot of the throws seem to be way off.

No fanbase should be happy with losing. Whether you lose by 20 or lose by 3, it's all the same. Just use our basketball team as a comparison. How long have we been waiting for them to "turn the corner"? and it still hasn't happened yet. The thought is always "just think how much better we will be next year" but in all reality, we never really are. Ohio knows they have this game won, and the announcers are talking about 7-0.

You enjoy watching us be down 20-0 at halftime? At some point people get sick of losing, and I'm freaking tired of it!

Where are all the "this team is fun to watch" people at now? Even Ianello's team could put up 20pts against Ohio. Whether you want to admit it or not, we are going backwards.

Have to assume OhioU is going to score on every drive, just digging ourselves a bigger hole. Has Williams completed a pass yet?

As much as I would like to see us beat them, I think both the offense and defense will need to play. It seems like every week only one side shows up, and other weeks neither does. My estimate is Ohio 35 Akron 10.

I like them, but no Akron logo on them like the past?

UA wouldn't have made the deal if it didn't feel that InfoCision was a good company, and if they fell that it could end up hurting our image I'm sure the name would be changed. It happened when the Astro's ballpark was changed from Enron Field to Minute Maid Park. Ianello did much more than just damage our football program.

I think that we have a solid rotation of good players, but not really those stars you need to make a run in the postseason. It doesn't seem like we have a guy who can score in double digits on a consistent basis, but rather rely on a team philosophy. While it's good to not have to rely on one player to win, it hurts when we have those games that the team doesn't mesh and struggle to score. They star of our team is Zeke, but more for his defensive ability. I really hope someone like Harney, Tree, or one of the new players can step up and really put points on the board. It makes for more exciting basketball.

In all fairness Rob Ianello did more damage to the Zips image than InfoCision ever will.

I've had the same problem at the JAR. But there have been a few times, that I have had reserved tickets and the ushers actually came up to me and asked if I belonged there. Just because I look like a student, doesn't mean I'm not allowed to sit there. I paid for my seat and they really have no business bothering me about it.

Every team has injuries. You don't see us using injuries as an excuse for losing games. The fact is you are squeaking by, barely beating bad teams.

Well just like that we're down by 7, soon to be 14. Can't wait to see how you guys will consider this a "positive" loss.
