Banks' "transfer" rating would almost be certainly much lower than his rating out of HS. Him being #2 at WVU and starting a few games this year has me intrigued. Like others, I don't particularly see TE as a position of need with Brank the clear #1 IMO. I think I read he was named 3rd team all MAC and the first Zips TE ever make an All MAC team, and he was only a "super" freshman. He reported on twitter he had an offer from Missouri. Who knows how committable it was, but nice get regardless. Maybe there is something we don't know about the position group, but at the very least I think we've upgraded the #2 TE slot.

I think he was already at Miss St prior to Moorhead, but would think this would be a candidate.

They do...so far. Its hard to argue with their record. Their P5 losses weren't particularly close. Had a nice mid-major win over Belmont. Florida really made us forget about that buzzer beater loss to OSU. I think our team is starting to find their identity and gel (which was probably set back by the unexpected departure of Walton). Looking forward to Tuesday to see where things really stand. I think if we beat Buffalo and OU this early in the season, it would bode well for the rest of conference play.

Just Mumpfield and Gibson so far. Mathison would likely be the only other. Only Council went P5 (to Auburn) when Bowden left, though a lot of players disappeared or transferred out. They would have had to wait a year unless they were a grad transfer then.

Just a random two cents: Seems like more guys from the Arth exodus are going P5 than when Bowden was replaced. Mathison hasn't committed anywhere yet and it seems he's just getting G5 interest at this point. I'd like to see Moorhead convince him to stay.

Great win. I thought we were going to get run off the floor. IDK how much of a difference the head coach makes, but props to Canada for getting this game played. I think we're finding out the team runs through Ali (and he's realizing his potential). That was efficient domination by him today. Also, Wynn provided some solid minutes for those who are interested. We're knocking off the favorite in the MAC and this team is still figuring itself out. Should be a fun season! Go Zips!

Playing Bama is a disaster even if you are OSU. Just look at last year's 4 score loss to Bama in the natty. The elitists will use it against the G5 for sure if Cinci gets blown out, but i'm sure they'll forget to recognize 10 out of the 14 playoff games thus far have had margin of defeats by 3 scores or more.

FWIW, I read that Oregon is supposed to be down like 30 scholarship players for this game. I'd concentrate on what the offense is doing/trying to do rather than the end result.
