  1. Good job O'Leary.
  2. Also, I am liking these 2 TE/H-back sets with Williams and Booker.
  3. Woody finally kept it on the zone read. Opportune time I suppose.
  4. George was in decent position, just made a horrible play on the ball.
  5. BG can run those trick plays because we generate no pressure.
  6. Shocked that penalty wasn't on us. Just seems like something we'd do. Just like giving up a 45 yard run on 3rd and 10.
  7. Our mass substitutions on defense are so stupid and NEVER work. We've blown two timeouts trying to do it now this half.
  8. Nice to see us get some pressure without blitzing for once.
  9. It was a nice change of pace. I'd bet they do that some more this season.
  10. Also, I liked the hot read he made there.
  11. I wonder whats up with that. I like watching him run!
  12. I guess at least we aren't BG......they lost their starting QB to a stupid trick play.
  13. Our special teams BLOWS. Nearly every punt is blocked and every return by them is long.
  14. And I didn't type eff'n
  15. Missed the god damn XP, I'd be shocked if Ball isn't gone for the season, and George's dumb fumble after the INT that led to a BG TD. We are leading, but I'm not enjoying this much so far.
  16. Great. Our best offensive players gets hurt on a eff'n play that didn't even count. That doesn't look good. We knew we had the offsides.........why on earth didn't we throw the fade like we normally do or why didn't Ball just fall down!
  17. I thought it was funny how OSU's 3rd string QB was speaking out about it. He certainly hasn't earned a dime for the U. Dude probably won't be on the team next year unless he's content with being 3rd string his whole career.
  18. I would say both mutually benefit.
  19. I wouldn't say victimless, it's tax evasion which is robbing the American people. Regardless, I'm getting the feeling you're in favor of an unregulated system, which will only result in schools like the one we root for to become more irrelevant than we already are, when in reality, we should want anything that will make the playing field more equal. I say if players want paid, take away their scholarships. Give them that dollar amount instead. Let them pay for their own room & board, meal plans, tuition, medical bills, and whatever else. They aren't going to come out anymore ahead at the end of the day. That's what getting a cost-of-attendance scholarship is. That or go overseas. People need to stop acting like their aren't options.
  20. So is funneling150k to the Bowen kid to come to Louisville ok? Apparently not per the NCAA and FBI. At the end of the day were talking about the same thing here. Paying kids huge sums of money to come to your school.
  21. I don't necessarily disagree with the ideology, but then you'd have boosters paying players 100k for an autograph to get a player to come to your school. Then we are in the same situation we are in now.
  22. Your response did not answer my question. Still waiting for your solution.
  23. So what is your solution to fix the problem? Just pay the players at blue-chip programs and create an even larger lack of parity? How are you going to determine if a program is a "blue-chip" program or not?
  24. What exactly is Akron profiting off of? Same goes for the majority of D1 schools when talking athletics. Have you seen the videos where they show walk-ons getting scholarships? Don't tell me full-ride scholarships with full-rides don't have value.
  25. I hope to enjoy watching the Zips play this week. I will enjoy watching them if we don't beat ourselves, and that should lead to a win by a decent margin.
