heck of a get. A player with that many offers and transferring here only one year out of HS is promising IMO. Also great that Kenni Burns recruited him at Minnesota, and he apparently chose to come here over him! Bringing in 2 transfer RBs, I have to wonder if Price or Kellom are moving on.

Ty Thompson to Tulane.

Refreshing that, as talented as they may have been, we no longer have to put up with the likes of Diggs, Harney, Treadwell, and Abreu.

I saw Ty Thompson is reportedly visiting Iowa this weekend.

St Bonnie took care of VCU last night. Duquesne got exposed by UMASS.

I like that the MAC is down this year. Maybe a one seed difference depending on a “good” year? The champ is a 13-14 seed usually with the occasional 12. Those seeds have upsets all the time. We’ve been challenged in OOC and I would think we still get James Madison. I think many would think this season is only a success if we win the MAC and hopefully a NCAA win with that. Chances only increase with a weaker conference, whereas the chances are none if we slip up in Cleveland.

We kicked the pee out of a weak conference opponent like a championship caliber team should. Good win.

So nice to see Tribble's improvement shooting the 3.

Watching Liberty vs Oregon now. Had a pop up that all 5 of Liberty’s OL started every game this season and was only 1 of 8 teams to do so. One of those OL was Xavier Gray (at RT). Not sure what to make of that.

I’d like to see someone overtake Chambers. He’s played a lot due to injuries, but has really been pegged as a back up his whole career. Him starting this year feels like it would be a necessity rather than earned. I’d hope at least Kindred would be able beat him out if we don’t bring in someone else. Would also like to bring in another interior OL for depth at the very least. Also as time goes on, our holes being filled should start to come from HS recruits more and more. We’ve had a few already like Williams, Davis, McCoy, and Marcus Moore and Norton to an extent. But them stepping up along with others like Kaiwan Murphy, David Jester, Zayden Laing-Taylor, etc should go a long way.

Gathings is apparently backing out of his signing with Ball St (or they aren’t taking him).

Good game. All 3 games were. Very good. Cool event. most has been said - need to rebound as a team better, need better guard play, need to hit our dang free throws! Lastly, somebody else besides Freeman and Ali need to step up on a consistent basis.

Someone besides Ali needs to do something.

I think what last night shows us is no matter how highly recruited you are, you likely need time to develop.
