Agreed! I was thinking about him the other day, though I figure he's only got one year of eligibility left at this point. I saw his brother (a much higher rated recruit and an OL) was also in the portal. Wonder if we could get a package deal lol.

Looks like had one year at Miss St, committed to Ole Miss, but ended up at JUCO this past season.

OU also had their top 2 QBs unavailable, I believe top 2 RBs and one of their top 2 WRs, and Keye Thompson while Ga Southern had everyone. Good win for them IMO. Navarro basically had zero stats this year before today's game, same as their RB.

In Gilbertson's two years, he had 4 all MAC performers. Can't say I'm surprised to see him get an opportunity. On its face, its G5 positional coach to G5 positional coach position, but im sure Mountain West budget is a lot bigger than ours. Such is life in the MAC. Thats why I said I'd rather that $$ from whoring ourselves out to blue bloods go to staff salaries and recruiting budget as opposed to stadium renovations on a ~15 yr old stadium... We should be able to prevent our staff from making lateral moves to peers.

Starting job next year maybe. I don't think he beats out Fish or McCoy as a true or redshirt freshman (unsure if he ever actually ended up at Army?). Might be able to push Cooper when he's on the field, but I think we predominately run a 4-2-5 d.
