  1. Agree with all of this. I would say this was the least talented team Bama has had during their "dynasty"
  2. More importantly a coach that is truly dedicated on making the program better. Not somebody who thinks he is too good for us.
  3. Replace Notre Dame with Michigan and you are correct.
  4. Let us all remember that we have a former Jr. Miss all Ohio on our dance team....
  5. ^^ maybe. Im not sure I want a guy (Amato) who isnt really committed to building the program.
  6. no EMU or Buffalo for a second straight year??
  7. Hard to tell. Hopefully with the Browns, though. His age is getting up there, 61 I believe. His window is closing. You would figure if he was going to make the jump, he would do it after his 3rd title in 4 years including a most recent beat down of Notre Dame. Then again, why would he ever leave Bama?
  8. reps if I could. Oregon returns a lot as does OSU. But I'd say Bama will be the favorite yet again. Key for them is replacing that NFL line.
  9. You would still expect it to be updated with relevant information.
  10. Seems like The Chest is trying to get out of Akron the first chance he has.
  11. Eh Michigan hasnt really been relevant 4 of the past 6 years.
  12. I can definitely see him taking Purdue to the next level. 8-4 or 9-3 probably would be average. Sprinkle in a season like he did at Cant this year and he could be getting a bigger job offer. In my opinion, the Big 10 for the foreseeable future will be roughly more times than not 1) OSU 2) UM 3) up for grabs.
  13. fixed it for you.
  14. I expect Hazell to do great things at Purdue. Can't is extremely well coached, just didnt have the players to pull out the W.
  15. Thanks. I knew that. Surprised it slipped my mind.
  16. has Can't hired a new HC yet?
  17. That long haired Polamulu looking TE sucks. Cost them the MAC championship, cost them an INT there.
  18. I meant win by one score, obviously.
  19. I think Can't wins a one score game. The difference is that they still have Hazell on their sidelines, while Malzahn is nowhere to be found.
  20. Dont really care what the Zips are ranked unless its the MAC, top 25, or NCAA tourney. We better be top 100
  21. Right, because we have clearly played Duke and Kansas caliber teams. The "Columbus Buckeyes" also have the benefit of not playing in a one bid league where their whole season isnt hinged on a few games.
  22. Agreed, especially at our weakest position! Seriously was Coppin State even D1? Not serious, I know they are D 1, but I think I have played against better players at the Rec. Definitely could have been a better game by us. I think the team needs to get it to these 4 guys: Harney, Zeke, Tree, and Forsythe. Establish them first every game, they are our best overall players. Our shooters then need to build off of that, and there were some good looks later in the game when players were looking opposite after Coppin was packing the paint. PG play is my biggest concern going into MAC play. Melo and AA each went scoreless tonight, as well as getting beat off the dribble and having the 5'5" 150lb PG shoot 3s in their face all night. You absolutely have to have Ibatayo as the backup right now. He has too much athleticism to not play him.
  23. who? I'll be there, but you cant fault people for not wanting to come watch the Zips beat up on yet another team nobody has ever heard of
  24. Not a fan of the play calling tonight. You cannot stack the backfield and run up the middle like you did in the MAC when FSU has 50+ lb advantage on the line. Spread the D out some. With that said, a few plays cost NIU any chance at winning. 14 points of turnovers, including costing yourself points with the interception. Keeping drives alive by costly penalties. Hopefully Akron uses the money gained from this game to improve the program in any way. Mainly any combination of putting money aside to pay the HC/assistants more to retain them, as well as an increased recruiting budget. ~30k is tough to work with when you are trying to recruit nationally.
