i watched sportscenter 11 this morning and did not see any mention of the Zips at all, especially in the top 10. Does anybody have a link? Also, not sure if it has been mentioned or not, but the student re-broke the attendance record for the 3rd time this season last night. To the poster who said you havent saw that many students in a long time, well, you technically have never saw that many students at a game

Dont think so. Canton or Columbus. I do not understand why the U doesnt submit a bid to host playoff games, however. We have no problem hosting multiple city games every week...

Did OU patent the O-H-I-O chant? If anything, I would guess OSU has it patented. Could be wrong, as I know Michigan's band is the first one that performed script Ohio.

LOL If people just looked at record instead of competition, why wasnt NIU or Can't ranked top 10 at any point this year? You argument is flawed. As for their bball team, they arent very good. Sweet 16 is their absolute limit. They have a good chance of getting knocked out in the first round.

OU has the same exact record this point in the season as last year, along with a better conference record. Losing to OU in the MAC finals doesnt mean we arent good enough for a tourney bid. Asinine to think that. Any team can slip up. See Kansas losing to TCU who had lost all of their conference games by 10+ prior to that game. If we slip up and dont make it, then it is what it is. We have a great chance at an at-large if we win out and would happen to lose to OU in Cleveland. Well known college basketball analysts are agreeing. I will take their opinion over yours.

Meh, the fact that somebody was a McDonald's All American doesnt mean much to me. We have already played one of them this year in Marcus Smart (projected to go top 5 in draft, btw) and we did just fine against him. In fact, Abreu scored only 1 less point than him.

OK so OSU has an advantage at 2 yes, 2 positions. Thomas is a volume scorer and Craft is no offensive threat at all. Give me Zeke and Treadwell over the scrubs like Ravenel and Williams. Give me Walsh over Sam Thompson or Lenzelle, or whatever bum that Matta wants to throw out there that cant hit a jump shot to save his life. Also, give me the depth Akron has over OSU. NOBODY HAD OU GOING TO THE SWEET 16 AND TAKING UNC TO OT. If we make the dance guys, we should just decline the bid. I dont think anybody thought OU (besides their fans maybe) had a chance against UM last year. You play the game for a reason. There is parity in college bball this year. A good chance for whoever the MAC representative is to make some noise again.
