I dont think anybody is saying our team isnt good (besides a few over-dramatic posters). The biggest point in it all, IMO, is that they are just missed opportunities. Chances are, our season will come down to 1 game against OU in Cleveland. If we slip up, I will consider it a disappointing season because I know how good this team is.

Cant believe you included Memphis in the "pretty solid core". I think we could ultimately see the end of the Big East as a football conference with the BCS basically making them a mid-major now. Why would a MAC team leave now when we have the same opportunity as them?

I'm pretty sure that team in Columbus is still undefeated. ND is quite possibly the worst undefeated team of all time (right there with OSU this year, actually). I expect them to A) lose to USC or get destroyed by Bama in the NC. Its a little early to call for the haters to retire to bomb shelter.

I really dont see who is starting making a difference. We are a deep team. Everybody worth of minutes will get their fair share whether they are starting or not.

Actually played against Cunninghum in high school. He played for Waterford. Gaudio is actually an Ohio native as well. From one of the Buckeye schools prior to consolidating and becoming Buckeye Local in Jefferson Co. I am really pleased with the Zips today. This is how we should play all year. UNC-Asheville is a quality team that took Syracuse to the limit last year in the tourney. Its a shame Tree and Harney werent able to play the first 3 games, but hopefully we will not have to worry about any at large because I plan on winning the MAC!

Bolded 1) because we should have won the game. Ok St's fans' negligence has nothing to do with how our team performed, or why we should be content with the close loss. We shot 30%...that isnt good no matter which way you want to spin it. Bolded 2) OK St is NOT an upper echelon Big 12 team. They finished last year 15-18. 3rd worst in the big 12, in fact. I do think we will be fine with Tree and Harney back, however.
