  1. Mmmm. Not a big fan of freshman talking trash.?
  2. Have watched Petno since he was in Jr. High, a match or two each year. He has improved every year. Frankly, he is surprisingly good. Good players can usually be spotted by time of puberty. Petno is a late bloomer. Who knows what he will become. Very good middle distance runner in Track. Excellent wheels. Offensive minded but probably not a classic #9. Big & Fast! His father was a high school team mate of mine.
  3. All four are coming to Akron? Really?
  4. DarNag was consensus MOTM in an otherwise lackluster match vs. Serbia.
  5. Please use your "voice" to inform AD that more soccer coverage is justly warranted, whether in season or out. This is not necessarily an indictment of Sean Palchik's work ethic. It is incumbent upon management in AD to get the job done with their available resources. I would not presume to suggest how AD should be structured. What I do know is that important off-season events occur in every sport. National Signing Day is an important annual milestone for MSOC. I merely ask SID to please take notice, to give Akron's proudest program the attention it has earned.
  6. Out of likes for the day. So many good memories. Thanks, Adam. We will never forget.

  8. Futbol de Americano! And that is exactly what I meant. That field in at Buffalo is a joke, way too narrow for soccer. Every match there is a miserable throw-in fest. It is difficult for Buffalo's program to be taken seriously whilst that is their home field. I dare say that Russell Cicerone deserved better these last four years.
  9. Well, that crowned AF field is definitely NOT level. I know that much.
  10. Should recruiting talk go here? Or on a new thread?
  11. That seems about right to me. He is a long shot to make an MLS roster. Most likely find himself on a USL squad in 2017. He has good size, some speed, understands the game well, good in the air, very good 1v1 tackler. Concussion history remains a concern. I am definitely rooting for this all around swell guy. Me thinks the result in Indiana may have been different had he played. #ZipForever⚽️❤‼
  12. Robby was definitely in the mix, and he will be missed.
  13. Robby Dambrot is transferring?!? Really?
  14. Yours is a massively understated posting.
  15. Great article! Drumbeats grow louder? Are they loud enough to affect change?
  16. I was looking forward to watching Chino grow into his potential. I wish him success. Nice kid. Really hate to see him leave. Truly!
  17. Now that truly is sad, indeed.
  18. Extraordinarily, Massively, Disappointed that John Nelson is not coming to Akron!
  19. That is not good news at all. From the little that I saw preseason (and spring) I thought Pollard was our #1. He is too good to sit the bench.
  20. Totally agree with this article. DarNag will never be everything he can be until he leaves his Portland comfort zone. He can return to MLS in 5-6 years. Sad but true; MLS is not where DarNag needs it to be. Not yet. He can't wait.
  21. We are proud of you, Brad Ruhaak. And we here an ZNo never forget.
  22. Try MLS.com. If they do not have that available, they certainly should.
  23. Yes. A real firecracker of a match ( whole series really), with many ebbs and flows to the contest! This should serve as a custom commercial for MLS. I loved every minute of it.
  24. I agree with you that Caleb Porter is the long term choice, or at least one of the long term choices. But the US has 8 matches over 18 months to qualify for Russia. (Have I got those numbers right?). Bruce Arena has been there and done that. Let him have USMNT through Russia. After which, Arena can tap his successor and step down. Had JK been fired a year ago, I would not be OK with hiring Arena. But USMNT is short on time at this point.
