https://www.sounderatheart.com/2018/3/17/17132856/sounders-2-open-cheney-stadium-with-a-win Luckily, after the T2 goal Hinds found his footing. The athletic left back turned left winger was a terror down Portland’s right side for the remainder of the half. His movement bore it first fruits in the 42’ when he was able to draw a penalty with some nifty play in the box. After encouraging the fans just behind the goal to make some noise, Chenkam confidently stepped up and hit the penalty shot into the side netting to even the score. Hinds was not done. Just three minutes later a excellent crossfield pass from Dylan Teves found him open down the wing, Hinds passed the ball into Olsen who laid the ball off with a clever backheel. Hinds was able to beat two T2 defenders to the ball and, while sliding, guide it over Alex Mengels into the top right corner of the goal. S2 took a 2-1 lead into half.

https://fansided.com/2018/02/28/10-potential-breakout-players-for-the-2018-mls-season/ Jonathan Lewis is #6 on this list of potential breakout players They also have Adam at #10 on their list of breakout players.....However, sadly, this reporter has not done any research as the Union will pay a huge amount of money for a foreign player to play the position that Adam plays http://www.thereporteronline.com/sports/20180301/union-finally-seals-deal-with-dockal

http://www.uslsoccer.com/news_article/show/890839?referrer_id=2333971 The visitors took the lead in the 60th minute as left back Joao Moutinho moved forward into the attacking third and fired a low shot that tucked just inside the right post. https://www.dailynews.com/2018/02/24/los-angeles-football-club-gearing-up-for-final-preseason-game-against-sacramento-republic/ Rookie defenders Joao Moutinho (first pick) and Tristan Blackmon (third) have more than held their own in camp. “Both have done really well,” Bradley said. “What I like is that they show every day, they compete, they try to play (soccer) and they’re not afraid and on the back foot.

http://www.phillysoccerpage.net/2018/02/20/work-to-be-done-in-the-unions-last-week-of-preseason/ Adam being mentioned as a possible starter for his MLS team Yep, we’re still talking about the No. 10 Last week’s ill-timed injury to Ilsinho — seriously, I think Nick Fishman put a curse on the poor guy — threw the door wide open for both Anthony Fontana and Adam Najem. With the odds of an outside hire walking into Clearwater decreasing by the minute, the two youngsters are in a pitched battle for the starting role. Interestingly, the teenaged Fontana got the start on Saturday. But while he didn’t make any major errors, the Delaware native didn’t exert much influence on the match. Najem, on the other hand, looked lively in the final thirty minutes, producing an assist on the Union’s lone goal. Of course, he also managed to blast a sitter well over the bar, so it was a mixed bag for both players. Najem probably has the slight edge heading into the final week, but with the two players set to split 180 minutes on the pitch this week it’s anyone’s guess who’ll be starting on March 3.
