I am very pleasantly surprised by the change in RPI after this game pre game Akron was #18 in RPI .6031 strength of schedule (SOS) 27 Opponent SOS 30 Cleveland State was 9-2-3 coming into the game their strenght of schedule was 157 their pre game RPI was 67 they had been in the high 40's but they lost to 3-9-1 Northern Kentucky at 9:30 tonight Gaucho Dan live RPI shows the zips at #11 ?! ?! .6172 SOS shows as 17 opponent SOS drops to 42 games in progress right now....probably won't help the zips at 89:54.....Indiana is tied with Evansville at 64:02, Rutgers leads Penn State 2-1 Akron will be hurt in RPI...with the next 2 games against Northern Illinois and Chicago State Akron dropped 6 spots in RPI ...the last time that they played Chicago State

I don't begin to completely understand everything that goes into RPI. I was really worried that Chicago State would hurt Akron badly in the RPI. Give Coach Simonetti a chance. This roster is all on Noreen. Noreen knew that she would be fired after this season....and did the Zips dirty with resigning for another job in the summer. Also, you can blame Larry Williams and George Van Horne for giving Noreen a multi year contract. Noreen should have been fired after last year's 3-15-1 but Akron could not afford to buy out her contract for the fall 2022 season. Noreen, Loser Larry and George VH......did not represent Akron Athletics in a good manner.

BG came into the game with a 2-4-3 recrod. They scored 6 goals in one game against Oakland. In their other 8 games,. they scored 4 goals in total. They are not a good team. BG had a better game plan....and their players won the 50/50 balls. This is a bad result.

Akron has been sucked into playing BG soccer. (balls in the air and physical soccer). Changes have to be made a halftime. Zips need to keep possession and win more 50/50 balls. In the last 30 minutes, the ball was probably in BG half of the field....70% to 75% of the time. Great step in interception by Ashton Kamdem led to the Clapier goal. Kamdem has really improved the zips quality at left back.
