  2. In the MLS Next tournament in late June/early July, James was written up twice in subscriber only Top Drawer soccer articles July 6 premium top drawer soccer D James Buebendorf, St. Louis SG U16 - Bubendorf was the embodiment of an attacking full back, running relentlessly up the left side, providing dangerous crosses — while also nicking a goal or two for himself. june 25, 2022 MLS next premium top drawer soccer James Buebendorf, St. Louis SG U16 Bubendorf made an impact immediately. On St. Louis’ first attack the left back probed down the left wing cut past his defender and placed a simple cross into the 6 yard box. It was dutifully tucked away a moment showing blanks offensive quality.
  3. left back fullback from St. Louis SC Welcome to Akron, James Buebendorf Hopefully, all can open the instagram link https://www.instagram.com/p/CjStOGvODnX/
  4. Joshua Bartels is another recruit from the Columbus Crew Academy he played all 90 minutes for Crew Academy U17 in MLS Next final and scored a goal. this is really shaping up to be an outstaning recruiting class. Keep up the great work in recruiting......coaches https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/club-soccer-articles/philadelphia-new-england-win-mls-next-cups_aid50965 A penalty from Taha Habroune and an early second half finish from Joshua Bartels had Columbus up 2-0 50 minutes in to the final versus Philadelphia Union.
  5. Great team win last night. Joel Sangwa is my mid season pick for team MVP. He brings such stability and skill and confidence to the center back position.
  6. Sam Tojaga in the starting lineup. so happy to have Captain Sam in the starting lineup
  7. This afternoon result Western Michigan 7 Chicago State 1 that means that Akron is 2nd in the MAC.. going into tonight western Michigan 3-0 2. Akron 0-0 tie for 3rd bowling green, Northern Illinois and Chicago State are all 0-1
  8. good post.... every year, they do seem to have one horrible clunker at home. Last year, it was a saturday night home game against one of the Georgia teams. Zips are 0-3 in the last 2 years against NIU. Zips must come out and dominate on Sunday night. Zips must be 1-0.....when they go play at BGSU.
  9. since I proved the other day...that I could not correctly type the name of 8 teams and I completely lost the faith of Letsgopzips, I am just going to include a link to the NIU schedule they have a record of 3-3-3 go zips.com.....shows that this game will be on ESPN Plus !!! (hallelujah ) below, the NIU schedule, I have included a link to the MAC schedule page Western Michigan hosts Chicago State Sunday at 1 pm. By the time that the zips and the huskies take the field, Western Michigan will likely be 3-0 in the MAC. of their first 4 MAC games, this game against Northern Illinois is their only MAC home game of the first 4 . After hosting NIU, the zips must travel to BGSU, Chicago State and Western Michigan. The zips must come out motivated.....and they must protect their home turf at all costs. https://niuhuskies.com/sports/mens-soccer/schedule/2022 https://getsomemaction.com/calendar.aspx?path=msoc&season=2022
  10. I am just getting a black screen on the digital network.... no picture, no sound freaking amateur hour why is this game not on ESPN Plus?

  12. Duquesne comes to Akron tonight with a 6-0-2 record season opener - 1-0 win over Michigan 1-0 win at Canisius 2-1 win at Robert Morris 2-0 home win over James Madison 7-0 home win over (correction)....Howard University 1-1 tie at Wright State 2-1 home win over Loyola Chicago 0-0 tie at Massachusetts Duquesne has only allowed 3 goals in their 8 games. I would think that they have to be among the best in the NCAA in allowing the fewest goals. Most importantly, Duquesne is 20th in RPI (as of this morning). Akron is 26...(as of this morning). Zips must protect their home turf and get a win tonight.

  16. https://gozips.com/news/2022/9/25/mens-soccer-no-18-penn-state-edges-no-14-akron-1-0 "We are disappointed with today's result," Akron head coach Jared Embick commented. "I thought we started the game well, but we're not able to sustain it. A silly turnover led to a goal, and we just didn't play with the intensity, effort and focus required to win on the road. It was a setback after a positive performance at Pitt and we have to regroup quickly to be ready to play at home on Wednesday."
  17. UGH... lightning delay with 35:50 left in the game really looks dark right now.... play can not begin until 30 minutes after the last lightning strike

  21. Penn State at 33 and Duquesne at !9 . Next 2 games are huge. Zips must get a W in both games. Cleveland State will also pose a good non league test. Cleveland State battled Ohio State to a 0-0 tie last night at Krenzler field. Sinisa has a done a great job at CSU.
