Zips now tied for 4th in the MAC WVU 2-0-0 Bowling Green and SIU-E at 1-0-1 Akron and Western Michigan at 0-1-1 Northern Illinois might the highest rpi but they are 0-2 in league after losses to SIUE and BGSU Ezana did make an outstanding long pass tonight to set up the one zip goal.

Highlights from the big ten network

The young zips team should be very proud of all that they overcame....to get a road win. They overcame an injury to Marco Milanese. They have showed their toughness on the road at Grand Canyon, VCU and at Michigan State. Grand Canyon had a win over the weekend over Seattle. Morgan Hackworth is a battler and he is showing some senior leadership. Skye had his best game this season. Pol and Abdi have locked down the outside back positions. Pacheco and Egbo will have fresh legs for Saturday. This team can still accomplish a lot this year.

Skye and Morgan Hackworth really pushed the ball when there was an opportunity. Strachan really stepped in well at Center back. Skye worked very hard to get off the great pass to Egbo for his goal. Egbo should be rested and ready to key the zips to a mac win on Saturday. Biros brought some good energy when he came in. Nice win.

Too many long passes tonight for the zips... picture quality is good...but these announcers are awful... You would think that BG has won 3 straight national titles...with the way that these players are being described by the announcers Zips need to start playing possession soccer and stop standing around

This is a true gut check game. The zips need to battle but they also need to keep their composure. BG will do everything they can to get David Egbo out of the game.
