Let's hope that Z.I.P. enjoys watching a zips win on the PAC network...and that he keeps us nice folks on the zips nation board updated...with his thoughts on the game

Sanchez at SiU-E....is a very good coach SIU-E....could be a more dangerous MAC opponent this year than Western Michigan I am glad that the zips play SIU-E late in October. Hopefully, the young zips will improve during the year. SIU-E plays Grand Canyon tomorrow....2 zip opponents and both are pretty good https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/college-soccer-articles/siue-shuts-out-wisconsin_aid44764

That still does not excuse the lack of focus. There is absolutely no excuse for that goal being allowed. 90 minutes of effort.....required every game. I know that this team has many young players but they have to focus.

Neymar and Wil Trapp - this is very cool -
Diogo Pacheco will also help the zips after he gets healthy. That young man has dealt with a lot during his first semester at Akron. Getting another option up front (the return to health of Zajac /Pacheco) to pair with David Egbo....can make the zips dynamic

Congratulations to Carlo . Looks like Seattle might also be missing a key player for the weekend's game MIDFIELDERS (5): Isaac Angking (New England Revolution; Providence, R.I.), Taylor Booth (Unattached; Eden, Utah), Blaine Ferri (Unattached; Southlake, Texas), Chris Goslin (Atlanta United FC; Atlanta, Ga.), Declan McGlynn (Seattle University; Kirkland, Wash.) -
speaking of things that make no sense...Washington ( a zips opponent this weekend)...was ranked #3 last week by the soccer coaches Washington lost 3-2 in double overtime...to Denver (ranked #19 at the time) Washington dropped from 3 to 23 in the rankings... Denver went from 19 to 6.... NC State received votes last week....they moved to #8 after a convincing win over Akron Akron dropped from 4 to 14 http://unitedsoccercoaches.org/web/Rankings/College_Rankings/NCAA_DI_MEN/web/Rankings/NCAA/DI_MEN.aspx
