    I guess I missed it, but how/why did we lose Mikal Dawson?

    At this point, the only positions I am concerned about is OL and DL. Until we can learn to run block and protect the QB, it doesn't matter who we have at RB and WR. On the DL we need to get players that can put pressure on the opposing QB. That is all I care about for the next recruiting class or two.

    After sitting through the UAB game and watching that mess, I have no confidence in the Zips beating anyone. Sad to say, but that's the way I'm feeling right now. Until our offensive line can block to protect Kato and can learn to run block and our defensive line can get pressure on the other QB we are in trouble.

    I don't get a chance to get to too many Zips games. I was excited to get a chance to go on Saturday. With that being said, I couldn't even make it through the 3rd quarter. Sad.

    They sure did. I'm still mad that he wasn't the Super Bowl MVP for the Buccaneers that year. I mean, who else has ever had two interception returns for a TD in a Super Bowl?

    I'm optimistic. We are young, especially on defense. What I really want to see is an actual running game!

    He looks like a pretty powerful runner with moves. Seems to be able to make something out of nothing which is something we definitely need.

    I was thinking the same thing. I hate to see anyone hurt, but at least it is at a position of potential strength.

    I remember that tournament game against OSU where he was getting beat up and eventually got hurt. Still makes me mad.

    I would think the writer should be well aware of MAC players having better stats in the NFL versus their college stats. The Steelers have probably had more of them on their team over the past 15 years than most.

    I also remember Kansas State playing in the JAR many years ago the year after they were in the Final Four. I think during the Coleman Crawford era.

    Glad to hear this! He was really coming on strong until his injury. He is a play maker!

    I voted that Davis will get drafted before Gilbert. I feel like before last season, it would have been the other way around. Davis really stood out last year, but with Gilbert getting moved around, he somewhat faded unfortunately.
