I voted 20+. We have more overall athleticism this year which translates to more hustle, more rebounds and more aggressiveness. I think that will make up for our lack of college playing experience.

RJ has another State Title under his belt. I really think he's going to be the stud lineman we've needed.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this already or not because I haven't read every post, but we are winning games pretty much the opposite of the way we used to. We actually have a higher free throw percentage than our opponents, we seem to out-rebound our opponents and when some one has the hot hand, coach Groce actually lets them dominate. The change in philosophy is very refreshing!

I agree. I was also yelling at the television and saying...get Booker in there and throw to him!

I just hope one (or more) of these RB recruits is a powerful, bruising runner because we certainly need one. I feel like Keyondre White might be.

I don't even know where to begin with all the garbage from last night. I guess first I'd like to know why Woodson was suspended. It better have been for a damn good reason and it better have come from Bowden and not Milwee. We can't afford to lose winnable games over something stupid. Second, can our OL please block? The majority of the time it seemed like the the defense was in our backfield in 1.5-2.0 seconds. Reminded me of when my son played pee-wee football. Third...can we please catch a break sometime with our RB's? I was excited to see Sands start and him getting injured on his first play was awful. Now our best two RB's are probably gone for the season and the other two can't or won't step up. Fourth, can we please wrap and tackle? I saw so many missed tackles that I was about to break my television. I feel like, if it comes down to us beating a horrible Kent team just to be Bowl Eligible, the powers that be will overlook us anyway. Okay, I'm done for now because I'm getting very frustrated.

After watching the press conference, you can see that the penalty issues with this team throughout the season are really becoming a point of emphasis. If you notice, it looks like Bowden's face even turns a little red as he's discussing it. He knows how critical it is to play a smarter game and stop shooting ourselves in the foot.

I'm excited to see the athleticism on the team this season. The guys looked ripped. It should make for some exciting games and I hope that translates to a lot of wins.

Somehow, over the past few years, we manage to hold OU to one of their worst performances, but still manage to lose by just a few points. We need to change the outcome this year and seal the deal.

I hope the Zips can win this, however I voted Toledo by 13 or less. I voted down the middle for passing yards and I feel like Coney will have a pretty good game.

It felt like someone else was actually calling plays for us in this game for awhile, but then near the end we were back to terrible play calling again when we were trying to close out the game.

I hope he can contribute, but from the video I don't see much to get excited about.

I voted that we will win by less than 8. Always seems close when we play them I voted that we create 2+ turnovers. I feel like we will be more aggressive in this game. I voted that we will have between 100-130 yard. Between Edwards, Morgan and Sands at RB and Woodson and Nelson at QB...we better be able to go over the 100 yard rushing mark as a team.

Sad to see him leave. He was one of our most consistent players on the team. Glad that he is able to make this decision on his own before anything else traumatic happened.

I agree. You can see it in his throwing mechanics. Watch his throwing motion right near the release.

This is exactly who I believe is potentially our best player for the future. He seems to have all the tools to be a really good QB. Let's hope you and I are right about this and they give him a chance to prove it.

Milwee is a joke. Until we demote him or get rid of him all together we will continue this pattern of horrible offensive football. Our offense hasn't been consistently good game in and game out since Bowden stopped calling the plays years ago.

I voted for Nate Stewart (mainly because we need help at WR), however I would also like to see more of Deltron Sands and Justin Sampson.

I definitely feel that we're going to have our hands full against Iowa State. We have to establish the run early and hope that our receivers can catch the ball when given the opportunity.
