back to Torrence...i hope this guy figures it out...remember...he was acquitted...not because he did not have sex with a TWELVE year old, but because the issue of 'consent'(even though 12 year olds can't legally give consent) came up and because as would be expected anytime you have to rly on a 12 year old things get real crazy..i deal with sex offenders in my line of work...the lack of maturity on the part of the adult is the ONLY issue here...the adult is responsible for making the decisions...if this is an indication of his abilities in that area we will be hearing from him again...hopefully his brain got rewired in a hurry...

while QB play must improve...IF the O-line plays up to its apparent capabilities...and the running backs are as good as advertised, the key to the season will be the DEFENSE...AGAIN, IF the defense can come together quickly...the front 6-7 appear solid, the secondary will be the key here...if the offense doesn't have to score a ton of points and can play some ball control for a change, they might be OK...put CJ in situations where he can take care of the ball and not have to be THE playmaker, the offense will do...hell miami got to the MAC Championship last year with a QB who couldn't find his buttcheeks with both hands...the D will be the key...6-6 JD keeps his job...otherwise....

well...as some of us said a couple of months ago, this will probably be an all or nothing for the ZIPS...either JD and his boys will show they can coach and pull the team together with a 6-6 and win the division OR as happens too often when you bring in a bunch of new, unknown, individuals who are not a team you get a bunch of new, unknown individuals on the field...not a team... a guy i work with lives near JD way out on the west side...talks to him...JD is telling him talent is there...but doesn't know if they can pull it together...have to keep Johnson out of trouble and hope CJ gets his head out of...you know whereare they selling Syracuse tickets here yet? see ya at the DOME!

Good idea. I've been saying for a couple of years now that we should intentionally try to stoke up a rivalry w/ Toledo. It's a natural rivalry-in-the-making. And, aside from the last 2 years, they have had an outstanding FB program.Toledo has made it clear that they want to leave the MAC at the first good opportunity. If we can build a good rivalry with them, they might take us with them. As of right now, though, their only real rival is BGSU, and that's the way they like it.How and when did UT make it clear they want to leave the MAC?I'm constantly hearing from UT's fans that they will jump to C-USA or anywhere else at the first chance. Apparently their athletic department also has that idea. ???????????

anyone remember what happened a couple of weeks ago in TWINSBURG!!!!????...show of hands, how many of you now carry a hangun in your vehicles?...now how many have a concealed carry permit...do you know what the law says you have to do IF you have the permit?...i am a parole officer...i have friends who are/were police officers...to a person they say one of there biggest fears is confronting someone who may be armed...the cops walk right into it without knowing and you get a situation like you had with Joshua Miktarian...why was pace carrying a gun in the first place?... and if drugs were involved in the arrest even if the idiot prosecutor agreed to a plea bargain the evidence becomes even more damning...the mere fact that the gun was 'available' to this guy heightened the risk that the situation escalates to an unintended level...what a great country...we can carry guns in our cars just for the hell of it if we want to..

Do any of you think that just maybe there were only so many founding packages? Since they do have to order a plaque of some sort with names on it. 30,000 names would be a rather large wall honoring a lot of people, that would probably never be able to find their name. they were HOPING for 5000 for the INFO...

if JD wins the MAC East he stays...actually he would only have to be around .500 to do that...look nobody really cares if you beat Syracuse...if he beats Can't,bg,buffalo,ou and steals another one he can get to the MAC champeenship and be under .500...I'd sure as hell enjoy a game ar Ford Field in December a hell of a lot more than I am going to enjoy the game in the Carrier Dome in September...the ZIPS will either be REAL good..they are on paper...or they will fall off the edge of the earth and JD is back to selling insurance...GO ZIPS

What about the Roo Brew? the OHIO BREWING COMPANY, HOPPIN'FROG, both local micros...if they don't try to get in on this they are crazy....and if the Lizard doesn't use it's connection to attach to the stadium some how....I know there USED to be a prohibition on selling alcohol INSIDE college football stadiums...thats one reason for the setup at the Bowl..outside the seating area..whether thats still in effect, don't know for sure...

lots of QUALITY coaches at I-AA and D-II who would jump at coming in here with the new digs...be pissed off at JD and the AD if things tank this year

HEY GUYS! i heard from a very reliable unnamed source in the athletic department that we're getting a winking lizard in the new complex. they don't need to sell alcohol on campus...you people drink enough...if the LIZARD didn't get a presence near INFO they would be crazy...they sponsor sports programming and the area around Exchange/Spicer/Brown will be alive...BW3 is crazy if they don't expand...some guys where i work were trying to figure a way to get in on this..one of them is a chef and wants to invest some money and time...

I'm in this camp, but if I was on the jury, I would have recommended no more than 50% above market appraisal or 50% above cost to locate the business to a spot of equal or better business opportunity, not 3mill.In other words, you don't just say "Here's what your land is worth, now take a hike!" just because you got the government involved. unfortunately you may be right...JD is NOT going to be invited to the FO unless he is either at least 7-5 or goes to the MAC Champeenship game...now...he has a good O-line,good RB's, appears to be a better D-line and adequate LB's...secondary is ????....wideouts????...QB????????....they can win some games with a running game and defense in the MAC...but unless CJ or whomever steps up at QB and 1 wideout emerges....the D will have to dominate...got my season ticket order in for '08 and '09

having lost 5 scholarships and with the pitiful last 2 years, 6-6 won't get JD back for opening day at INFO...he better be AT LEAST 7-5 and/or get to the MAC championship game
