  1. Yes, listed heights have been wrong, but I don't understand never believing a listed height. Is it only a PG phenomenon, or were Big Dog and Kwan both about 6'7" last season?
  2. His official team roster even lists him at 6'1" and 175. But we all know that only means that he is about 4'11" and weighs the same as a toddler.
  3. To my knowledge, you are correct. Whether or not he would have been on scholarship is actually now irrelevant. On this board, we had him taking a scholarship, so either he opened one up by leaving or JG has had an extra one this whole time that we did not realize.
  4. I just want to share something fun. FGCU signs 5'3" PG And we all thought that KD was obsessed with small guards.
  5. I disagree. I have never understood the spurned lover view on transfers. If a player can make the Zips better (and Noah would next year) I want him on the team. Noah is a 3 year starter that has a chance to start his whole career for Akron, that would be awesome. Remember, he announced he was transferring before Antino did. For all we know, Noah might have thought Antino was going to stay. I understand the frustration they both probably felt with never really getting to take control of their position. In the end, I have no source that Noah is even thinking about coming back, but I would welcome him in a heartbeat and I would think that his teammates would as well.
  6. I'm not sure it is either, but I would be surprised if we were able to get a player better than him at this point.
  7. I am starting to wonder about Noah possibly coming back. He has been on the market for quite a while now and I haven't even heard of any teams really showing interest.
  8. As I understood it, Deng Riak already took a redshirt year and will only have two years of eligibility with the Zips. Am I incorrect?
  9. Zips coaches are busy down in Florida, 3 more offers: Jamari Brown, DB, Coral Glades High in Coral Springs, FL Marquis Lambert, DB/WR, Admiral Farragut High in St. Petersburg, FL Kennedy Robert, DE/TE, Clearwater Central Catholic High in Clearwater, FL
  10. Damarco Harris, WR, Northwestern High in Miami, FL https://www.hudl.com/profile/8589763/damarco-harris
  11. Noah Plank-Tallerico, LB, South Fayette High in McDonald, PA http://www.hudl.com/profile/4311859/noah-plack/videos
  12. A very short scouting profile MaxPreps highlight videos
  13. I won't say that i am happy that he is leaving, but boy does 1 more free scholarship look great with all the players visiting UA right now.
  14. Im on my phone, so don't have the link, but if you go to his verbal commits page under closed offers it shows high school offers. I remember that Oklahoma State was listed.
  15. So after one of the most hectic recruiting weeks I have seen as a Zips fan, we are down to one final open scholarship. Personally, I would like it to be an older transfer that can play immediately just for the experience and scholarship balance. I would love either the JUCO point Reece or the Oregon State transfer Duvivier. I would also be happy with the ECU center, but I think we need one more piece for next season. Obviously, with the amount of visits that have been happening lately, there is a good chance that the final scholly will go to a name that hasn't been mentioned yet.
  16. Interesting. He was a two-year starter that sat out last season die to "personal reasons". I would certainly welcome an older guard who can come in and play from day 1.
  17. Nothing to see here... he chose USF
  18. Welcome to the newest Zip, Torrey Patton!
  19. He has an appeal in with the NCAA for a sixth year, but even the OU fans that I have seen are not too hopeful of his chances.
  20. Stolen from the MAC CSNBBS board: So, of the 15 players who were named to the All-MAC first, second, and third teams, only three players are returning. Am I missing someone else leaving? All-MAC First Team Isaiah Johnson, C, Akron, Senior Marcus Keene, G, Central Michigan, Junior Jimmy Hall, F, Kent State, Senior Jaaron Simmons, G, Ohio, Junior Thomas Wilder, G, Western Michigan, Junior All-MAC Second Team Kwan Cheatham Jr., F, Akron, Senior Tayler Persons, G, Ball State, Sophomore Blake Hamilton, Wing, Buffalo, Senior James Thompson IV, F, Eastern Michigan, Sophomore Steve Taylor Jr., F, Toledo, Senior All-MAC Third Team Franko House, F, Ball State, Senior Braylon Rayson, G, Central Michigan, Senior Marin Maric, C, Northern Illinois, Senior Jon Williams, G, Toledo, Senior Tucker Haymond, F, Western Michigan, Senior That is bad! The MAC was already having a down year this past season, next year is looking pretty bleak.
  21. I gave you an example of a player who had plenty of offers: LePear Toles. Here is another: Andre Drummond, an all star NBA center, was fully prepared to turn down all of his offers and signed to go to a prep school until deciding to go to UCONN at the very last moment. There is also every other player mentioned in the article that I posted that you seem to have conveniently ignored.
