They are tied for second. If CMU is not relevant in the MAC this year, then I don't know who is outside of Akron.

I hate to go against Big Dog, but I agree that unless something drastic happens, Keene will win in a landslide. CMU is really a 1.5 player team. Outside of Keene, with a little help from Rayson, the Chips have no one. He is making them relevant pretty much single-handed.

Antino and Jimond both attacking the rim early. I've even seen a drive or two by Josh. Our offense is pretty darn good when that happens. Just need to do it consistently.

Bowden just said on Joe Dunn's show that Chapman has been moved to wide receiver. Not a surprise, but it is nice that it is official.

Ok, it makes sense that they would not want to be excluded. It is definitely a big day for these young men.

This states that Sampson signed, so there is another of the unknowns taken care of.

Lubin is a great pick up. I really wanted him to sign, I loved his film. According to 247sports, he is our second highest ranked recruit, just following Johns. Should give our class ranking a little boost for all that it matters.

Does anyone know why Dunn-Martin has fallen so far down the depth chart? He makes a few mistakes here and there, but I feel like he can make some great plays. He only played 3 minutes tonight, the fewest of any Akron player that entered the game.

Kind of off topic, but I think this i the best place for my question. Does anyone know if Bowden is having a signing day press conference that the fans can access? I've enjoyed going the last two years and I can't find anything on plans for this year. Seems like the info should be out with signing day only a few days away.

D3 schools don't officially give athletic scholarships, but they might as well. I was lightly recruited to play D3 football and every school I talked to said that they can't offer me a football scholarship, but if I committed they could guarantee me a different scholarship that was technically was for all eligible students, but an abnormally high rate of recipients played sports for the school. It always seemed shady to me, but I guess it followed all of the NCAA's rules.

They have been advertising a Saturday double header pretty heavily. WBB game at 5, MBB at 7:30. I doubt they will change it this late.

I think that this is a game made for Jimond. If he can being constantly cutting/ finding holes in EMU's zone, I expect him to have a pretty huge night. I believe that Big Dog will have around 10 assists in the game.
