  2. Defensive lineman from GA. Did not report an offer from Akron before committing, so might be a walk-on as well. Had a few offers from lower level schools.
  3. I wonder how much the discrepancy from past year's PWO numbers is actually having more commits or if this staff is just more social media savvy and encourages the kids to make an announcement. Arth himself does not have a Twitter account, but pretty much every assistant is very active on social media with most posting multiple things a day. In year's past, we would have a lot of players just show up on the roster. Maybe now we will have a better understanding of who is joining our team. Pretty random/unrelated but i enjoyed this article from ESPN all about how to decode a recruit's Twitter profile during his recruitment
  4. WR who originally committed to Arth at Chattanooga.
  5. DE rated 3* by 247. Has an offer from Kentucky, but its old and I have to assume that they backed off. Also offered by PCCC, Tulane, and a few other G5 teams.
  6. Only giving up just one make in 8 minutes is pretty darn good. It is somewhat due to some poor shooting, but I sure do love this team's commitment to defense.
  7. We have already filled both Kostelac and Gueye's scholarships. We have 3 newcomers and only Ivey is a senior.
  8. He was 480 lbs only 2 years ago? That is some serious determination to get into good enough shape to get an athletic scholarship.
  9. Offensive lineman from St. Edwards. Looks like he was originally offered a PWO spot on January 3rd, which was upgraded to a scholarship offer a few days ago. He's a big boy. Listed at 6'7" 315 lbs on Hudl.
  10. 3/4* rated RB. Has offers from a whole bunch of P5 schools.
  11. Why the hell did we start standing at the half court line until 10 seconds left in the shot clock with over 5 minutes remaining?!? This team sucks at offense! We need to keep running plays!
  12. It happens every now and then, but they drop the pass 95% of the time.
  13. It astounds me how bad the Zips are on offense.
  14. 6 fouls 7 minutes in.... that can come back to bite us.
  15. Not Terry, but Todd Stroud is heading to Miami (Fl).
  16. Here is a 4 and a half minute interview of Zach from June 2016. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders and was once the #1 rated QB in GA.
  17. I really don't like singling out players, but I think the Zips offensive woes can be atrributed largely to Utomi. I am not sure that I have ever been so let down by a player playing so passively. Utomi is an athletic freak and can shoot the lights out, but a large majority of the game I forget that he is on the floor. I just looked it up and he is shooting 20-60(33%) and 11-39(28%) from 3 during MAC play. That is depressing coming from a guy who is as talented as any player in our conference.
  18. Gueye would have played for 2 years. I agree that it sucks to lose any player before we get a chance to see what he can do.
  19. I think Xeyrius Williams has way more potential than Gueye. USC might be a bigger school, but Williams proved that he can compete but was left by his coach and never got along with the new one. Gueye failed miserably at USC and transferred due to lack of playing time.
  20. As a person who always feels starved for info about the Zips, that #1 ranking in media exposure is pretty depressing. Just shows how little impact that MAC has if we are somehow the most exposed.
  21. I think that Riak's injury really hurt this team. He seemed lost at times on the court and missed a few shots that he had no business missing. When he gets back into the flow, I believe our offense will improve tremendously. Sadly, none of the other big options have stepped up yet this season.
  22. Offense has turned into everybody watching Jackson dribble around at the top of the key during the last few possessions. Need to keep moving the ball
