When you all share your "kudos" and "good lucks", remember his loyalty to the program could be purchased.  And he is willing to take as many players as he can and decimate the program.  That being said...that's how things go in NCAA division I basketball.

Yeah if he raids our guys and recruits, he's just another coach to me. Scummy move

For those who are complaining about KD being disloyal and decimating our program, look at what UA did for Football and has not done for Men's Basketball. Who's disloyal to whom? I smell the stench coming from Buchtel Hall in this situation.

Agree. Spare us all the the "class" bullshit. He doesn't care about us and I wish no luck or have no thanks to give a guy who is raiding our program.

Take your agenda elsewhere. A new stadium was needed. Keith was the highest paid coach in the conference. The University has done everything they can to improve the JAR/get a new arena.

Hoping we keep Utomi and Noah/Tino. I saw Tino tweet some cryptic stuff that makes it look like he is considering leaving. Like what I'm seeing from Jimond. Honestly, everyone who has announced they are leaving do not appear to be big losses at this point. Maybe we can keep Josh now?! Doubt it.

"When you're not happy after winning 26 and 27 games, you have to re-evaluate,'' Dambrot said when contacted late Monday night. "The one-bid league thing was really starting to wear on me and my staff.

"This was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I never could have made my comeback without Akron. Not many people get to coach for their alma mater. I will always be an Akron Zip."

His excuse over multi bid league is a joke.

He has nobody but himself to blame for the lack of NCAA appearances. He never scheduled a quality schedule, so he could never get quality wins and challenge his team so when tournament time came, he choked year over year.

He couldn't recruit at Akron, so how is he going to recruit at a high enough level to compete in the A10? A $40MM reno won't help him any. Hopefully he gets fired within three years when they see he is a fraud.

That being said.......Akron will also never grow as a program as long as they play in a HS arena in a league that is among the worst in the NCAAs. So until they get a big league arena or decide to go D2, they are in no mans land.
