K92
I also heard Moore is being moved from OLB to DE.I always wondered if he could bulk up enough to play DE. He certainly has the frame for the position. I hope he can make it to camp late and contribute. We need him.
Balsy
Roster updatedNew: RS SO DB Wedley Charles, RS FR LS Michael Buddenberg. BACK: Deon'Tae Moore, Donte Williams, Johnny Robinson.
Buckzip
Is Buddenberg related to John the former OL?I can't believe there would be 2 with that name in the UA team without being related. Don't tell me it's his son either. I'm not that old.

GP1
Is Buddenberg related to John the former OL?The best offensive lineman ever to play for the Zips. Is he in the Zips Hall of Fame?
Hilltopper
The best offensive lineman ever to play for the Zips. Is he in the Zips Hall of Fame?Saw him at the golf outing. He was having a blast. I think his team won the beers consumed per hole title.

GP1
Better than Alleman? (SP)Good point. Didn't think of AA. Either way, worthy of the Hall of Fame.
Buckzip
IIRC, Buddenburg was an OT while AA was an OG. He was a good player.
ZippyRulz
http://www.gozips.com/sports/fball/2014-15/roster?sort=numberHere is the 2014 GoZips.com roster. You can click on the headers to sort by number, name, position, or class. Use the Printer-Friendly button to print a copy for easy reference when player initials/numbers are used as a substitute for typing out unwieldy names.
Balsy
UPDATE: Added the new recruits. A couple of people missing who have been potentially linked to the Zips. Possibly preffered walk-ons. I will not add them until there is confirmation from an official roster (or those in the know). Those missing guys: WR Kefa Cort, RB Brandon junk, JUCO TE Josh McNeil, FB Joe Tupta, S Vince Lockett. Also, there may be some people who are no longer with the team (Anthony Clark?)...but until there is official confirmation. This is TENTATIVE. Based on where players were on the roster last year, so RS might be a little messed up. This is just a rough estimate of where the team stands currently. Blue & Gold
Great work! Thank you.I did notice you're missing Tommy Brown on the OL.Also, It'd probably also be safe to say Rodney Coe is on the DL. Right now you have him listed w/ the Athletes. Over time It'll get easier for me to update this list.
Balsy
UPDATED: Moved Rodney Coe to the DL and Tommy Brown has been added back to the list. I've also moved Jaquavis Dixon to WR, because the coachest talked about him being a WR.

zipsoutsider
Big congrats to @brianreinke5 who was recently put on scholarship at Akron. Brian was a 2014 graduate of @CopleyHSSports and is a RS soph. pic.twitter.com/NKkA3nYeeb — Copley Football (@CopleyFootball) January 5, 2017 Does anyone remember seeing him on the field last year? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe he played LB. His PT was more revealing of our lack of depth at the position than it was about his talent level. I doubt (hope) he won't get the PT this year that he got last year. But he probably deserves to be put on schollie. Good for him! Congratulations on a free education!!! He works, trains, attends meetings, practices and then plays on Saturdays (or is available to play on Saturday). That's not free, it's definitely a transaction that takes place. I feel compelled to point that out.

How would you compare the cost of his Akron education in 2016 to the cost of his Akron education in 2017? $10,000 vs $_________ "I'm sorry...the correct answer is "What is Free."
