akzipper Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Probably would have been more believable had he picked a school with a football team. 1 Quote
Dr Z Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 What's the saying? People that create their own drama, deserve their own karma. 1 Quote
Big Zip Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Why would you take offense to that...take offense to the actual product the team keeps putting on the field. After the product is better you can actually be offended by something else. Quote
K92 Posted May 1, 2015 Author Report Posted May 1, 2015 Evidently, he even changed up his graphics for the original post. Quote
LZIp Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 He forgot the "s."ZipsNationThe sad part is many of our real commits/players do to. Quote
Balsy Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 You know, I was about to be mad about this. Then I realized that for once #ZipNation #ZipNation is actually trending. Quote
Buckzip Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Douche move. He seems to be getting a bit full of himself. I wonder how he will feel when he isn't the starter next season.Skippy must be napping to not be all over this... Quote
LZIp Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 deadpsin is even talking about ushttp://deadspin.com/cardale-jones-did-a-good-prank-today-1701560508 Quote
g-mann17 Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Douche move? I found it funny.Especially considering all the people that ride on Twitter like it's God's Word or something.Total eclipsed time....8 minutes, and people get their panties in a bunch. Quote
skip-zip Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 He must be done with classes for the year, and has plenty of time on his hands. Oh wait, I forgot. He "Ain't Come to Play School" Quote
ZippyRulz Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 I think it's a trial balloon. He wants to transfer closer to home as guaranteed starter and wanted to find out what the reaction will be, Quote
scottditzen Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 Hey, at least it was nice to hear SOME mention of Akron on the national media. p.s. Jay Mohr was pretty hilarious reporting on this Quote
BirdZip Posted May 4, 2015 Report Posted May 4, 2015 I heard that he was serious about transferring until he learned that we were considering changing our name... Quote
Dr Z Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 Cardale is already being mocked in the first round by some pundits....but not as high as PSU's Hackenberg to the Browns. No sign of KP16...yet. Draft analyst Chad Reuter lists Zips opponents Shepard and Striker in his top senior prospects for next year. Sterling Shepard, WR, Oklahoma: Shepherd (5-10, 191) wears the same jersey number (No. 3) as his late father, who lettered for the Sooners as a receiver in the 1980s. Despite his slight frame, Shepherd's toughness and explosiveness in the middle of the field make him the sort of in-space player NFL coaches appreciate. He could be next year's Phillip Dorsett. Eric Striker, OLB, Oklahoma: Each year there is a highly productive but undersized linebacker prospect in the draft, and the question is always the same -- "Is he too small?" A team will find room for Striker (6-0, 223) because of the explosiveness to the ball, though it won't be as easy timing the snap count to reach the backfield (17.5 tackles for loss, 9 sacks in 2014) in the NFL and he'll need to prove he can stand up against Sunday-caliber offensive linemen against the run to make it into the first round. Buckzip Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 He may not even start. This will be interesting. Quote
Dr Z Posted May 7, 2015 Report Posted May 7, 2015 Cardale and his Columbus teammates were introduced at the Cavs game last night. Cleveland sure loves Columbus. Quote
