tpsjugglerdude
Matt Campbell is leaving Toledo to take the Iowa State job. The MAC is losing a great coach. Interesting that Toledo beat Iowa State earlier this year. I wouldn't be surprised if he has them ranked for their 2017 visit to Akron. Zipgrad01
Babers, Fleck and Carey are nextMark Richt was fired today and Virginia's coach resigned. There is also the opening at Memphis now that their coach is heading to Virginia Tech. I fully expect one or more MAC coaches to get plucked away. LZIp
I'm guessing Muschamp down here in Gawja !!!!That would be a horrible hiring. As for Babers, I'll throw his name in the ring for UCF. No clue for Fleck and Carey. This year may not be their year. Edited November 29, 2015 by LZip

LoyalZIP
WMU is going to make Fleck the highest paid coach in the MAC. He's not going anywhere yet. http://footballscoop.com/news/source-western-michigan-working-on-new-deal-for-pj-fleck/

The MAC needs a new bar set. Losing coaches to P5 conferences is one thing, but losing them to other G5 programs and/or having salaries much less is a bad look.Edit: See exhibit A.http://www.hustlebelt.com/2015/11/29/9816274/dino-babers-new-ucf-football-head-coach Edited November 30, 2015 by LZip

ewbrooman1
Last coach to leave Iowa State with a winning record was Earle Bruce. Six seasons, last 3 were winning. ISU has a .375 winning percentage since 1979. Good luck Coach Campbell. At least you will be paid well. Captain Kangaroo
I still expect Babers to go somewhere this year with so many highly visible jobs available and the domino effect that typically ensues. As a Zips fan, it is great to be going into the "closing time" of recruiting season with the quarterback position solidified, a winning staff in place, a bowl berth and a winning record. Couple all of that with our facilities, and I'd expect we'll have a great 2016 recruiting class. To quote Charlie Frye from his Frenchy interview: "If you're a high school football player, why wouldn't you want to come here?"
LoyalZIP
Babers isn't going to UCF. It's Scott Foster named today.

With our current lack of commits, I'm expecting a pretty strong ending relative to the rest of Bowden's tenure. Those decommits from MAC HC vacancies should be ripe for the taking. johnnyzip84
Someone in NOLA thinks TB would be a good candidate at Tulane. An interesting side note is that ULM AD Wickstrom WAS also a candidate at Tulane for their open AD position, which is expected to be filled in the next day or so..
