I looked online but the package I wanted was listed at $250. I was trying to get the lower $210 price.

Got you. Does family plan come with perks that I'm not aware of? 4 GA tickets add up to $240. The family plan is listed at $250.

No extra perks just that I got it for $210 last year and it was also advertised at $210 this year.

As Kreed pointed out, that is odd given that the GA tickets stayed at $60.

First time season ticket holder here. I ordered mine over the phone last week. I spent $80 for one set of GA, I was sold when they told me "parking pass"... Also the guy said something about when I bring someone, I can get them in for $10 which I thought was good

Hmmm, the website still shows GA seats at $60.  Curious to see if I have a parking pass in my tickets.

I never heard it was. Until seeing it on the Cedarville site while researching them a bit.

This type of game is an exhibition 99.999999999999% of the time. I never thought otherwise. It's being advertised as the first game because it is technically a game of basketball, so it's not really false advertising.

I think it depends on your number of scrimmages. I know D-1 teams are allowed 2 and Akron has already used both of them so I believe they need to count this as an official game. Cedarville could be in a different position given that they may have used their scrimmages differently (and could have different rules considering they are D2). I am pretty sure that after this game, assuming Akron wins... Akron will list themselves as 1-0 and Cedarville will list themselves as 0-0. 

 

It seemed when KD was here, they played John Carroll every year and some years it counted as a game and some years it did not. I think that had everything to do with the number of scrimmages they played before Carroll (If they played 2 it was a game and if they played 1 it was an "exhibition").

1. Shoot-around / walk-through
2. Exhibition
3. Official game

If Cedarville is counting it as an exhibition, I'm voting shoot-around/walk-through for Akron.

That makes sense. I never saw anything official but assumed it was an exhibition and the CMU (Tartans) game would count. Usually one of the D-II or D-III games is an exhibition and one counts, but never knew the ins and outs of it.

They weren't necessarily exhibition games but rather scrimmages that were closed to the public. Not sure how we fared.
