OU is great within the MAC, which is nowhere near competing with OSU on their own field, especially post-NIL. I predict OSU will win by about four TD's and the game will essentially be over shortly into the 3rd quarter, if not earlier.

Michigan wasn't the defending national champion, coming off a win against the preseason #1 team in the country, and had the #1 ranking at the time of playing. That was a very mid-Michigan team who finished the season 7-6. This OSU team would boat race that Michigan.

 

If you're so confident that OU can hang with OSU then go ahead and speak with your wallet. Place a sizable bet on the moneyline for OU. You won't though because you're all talk and know deep down OSU will win by a minimum of 3 TDs.

Pre- and post-NIL are completely different worlds though. Now it is more analogous to amateurs (OU) versus professionals (OSU).

OU just beat West VA a $284 million dollar program, thats ranked 53rd out of 68 Power Five schools.

OSU has a game at Washington in two weeks. They will get a lead and then milk it while exposing starters to minimal risk. I'd take OU and the points if I was betting.

MAC Champs on an 11 win season in 2024

10 game winning season that includes wins over Iowa State, Florida Atlantic and a Bowl win in 2023

Six MAC championships in All

8–8 bowl record. We have the 2nd oldest football program in the MAC and have only been to 2 Bowl Games. 

Ohio U is 27–13–1 against us. We haven't beat Ohio U since 2017 and 2007.

When it comes to any MAC Team playing a Power 5 we all should be rooting for them. 

Yes I am on record for hating the MAC regarding wanting Akron to leave for a better conference regarding annual 1 NCAA Bid Basketball. I have always been all for parity rooting for the Mid Majors vs Power 5s. 

And yes our team is hot garbage and you know why = The Coach I never wanted and said he was hot garbage from day 1. 

The fact yall are trying to belittle a mid major program who has won 31 games in 3 years knocking off Power 5 and bigger schools along the way is absolute clown bullshit.

I agree with you, I always root for MAC teams playing power 5 teams. It helps the conference immensely when they win. I just think it’s ironic that now you are so loyal yet say Akron couldn’t beat a high school team.
