Our practice field is indoors. I'm sure Joe wants the guys to be conditioned in the heat and outside environment. Plus they can get more familiar with sightlines in the stadium.

- Freshman Connor Cravaack looks to have great size in that short clip. Nice job looking the ball in and securing the catch.

- Impressive feet by George. I’m confident he’s going to have a big season.

- Bullock has a more compact throwing motion than Irons.

- #27 freshman Catrell White is fluid and seems to have some explosiveness to him. I initially thought he was one of the transfers.

- JUCOs (#90) LaJoshua Jackson and (#91) CJ Nunnally move well for guys their size and should provide DL position/tech flexibility like we thought.

- Myles Walker seems to be carrying right on from his spring game performance. Gotta think he’ll be in the rotation if he’s moving like that.

- #82 freshman Jean Louis with a tough catch against safety Jaden Woods. Louis is not built like a typical freshman.

Sure we be great if we could get literally any coverage of the team during camp aside from a few pictures here and there by the zips social media.

 

to be clear - calling out local media coverage as well as the university. I enjoyed the after practice interviews that have been done in the past.

What local media?  Local media overall is non-existent, let alone sports media..., and what does exist only covers the Cleveland pro teams.  I'm hoping this new Media Assistant AD we have in place now can improve things, but Instagram seems to be the place to see pics on a daily basis.

It was just a link of some of the football players showing off their dance moves. Looks like the link was deleted and reposted later in the day.

Any word on how Steele Wasel is looking in camp? I don't anticipate him taking the field this season, but just generally wondering. I have high hopes for him for the future. 

 

Speaking of local media that was mentioned in recent posts, wasn't there a time where Akron had their own news station? (Maybe I am thinking wrong?). I wish that was the case, get tired of Cleveland channels covering the Browns and Buckeyes only. I know, the Buckeyes defeated someone by 80 points because they played a community college again, but how did the Zips do!?

The amount of dedication and commitment he has to the program is a blessing for the University and Zips fans everywhere. No doubt his company will be the name of the stadium at some point imo.
