Yeah, he's not even doing BAD, exactly, he just seems unpolished in a way that suggests he's quite nervous.  Which makes sense and goes for just about all these student-reporters. 

 

Hell, I'd be suspicious of one that DID seem calm and loquacious.

How do you make 2 stupid plays in a row.  All Dawson had to do was pick the ball up.  Then Thornton cannot inbound the ball.  He should have called time out.  Groce should have called a timeout before they went on a 10-0 run.

Ali does not follow his shot and get that basket 2 years ago.  He has really improved his game in the paint with his hustle down low.

Some PCCC level math here.  Each team has 5 players.  If two defenders are on one offensive player, SOMEONE IS OPEN.
