If Kent State had a men's soccer program, the headline would read, "Akron unfortunately moves on in NCAA Tourney despite Kent State existing."

Alternate angle on the goal. With how good Princeton's goalie was tonight, this is the type of location that was needed to get a goal. He nailed it.

Perfectly placed!

I really liked the new rowdies I talked to them for a little bit. Hopefully they’ll do better with the new regime. Akron staff took away the horn and the Drum we had because of “NCAA regulations” so we were nerfed a little bit by that. It was a fun student crowd who was super into it which is what matters :)

The zero noisemaker object policy by the NCAA in the tournament is and has always been insanely dumb. Yes, let's nerf the atmosphere at a college soccer match. We wouldn't want the event to be too cool and fun to attend/watch.

It appeared like the NCAA tried to take away some of the home team excitement at the match, as even the announcer's introductions were very muted and no excitement shown on the goal.  No "GOOOOAAALL Akron!"

It's technically supposed to be a "neutral" environment I believe.
