Apparently, it was put in a priority mail envelope rather than sent regular ground shipping. As a result, $4.10 more was due for shipping. Perfect part of this week as a Zips fan. LOL. How did you find out it was held up for postage? Curious if that's the same issue with my hat. Quote

I don't disagree with your post about Ford. I just don't know what they could sell that would be the equivalent. I don't think it has to be iconic. A tee shirt would work, idk about the "built Ford tough" stuff bc I'm not a copyright attorney but it definitely would sell. And I'd sell them double what he's selling stuff for now. Quote

I wasn't planning on getting one because I don't wear hats that much, but they look nice. Sometimes embroidery can look cheap on these types of things but these look nicely done. Quote
zippy5 Posted Thursday at 05:54 PM Report Posted Thursday at 05:54 PM (edited) ahead is a nice brand that a lot of country clubs have been selling lately and I've found them to be comfortable and fit well, and look nice. The course we own, ahead is the #1 selling hat brand Edited Thursday at 05:54 PM by zippy5 Quote

I'm sure Bud is getting a discount for ordering in bulk, but I wonder what the margins the collective is earning on this stuff. I would be surprised if the collective is making more than $10-$15 margin per hat. Quote

Didn't someone say they had over 1000 orders? That's $12k+ based on your cost-per-hat number. Not too shabby. Quote

Plus, the Fear the Roo logo has always been a favorite of mine. 2 Quote

AkronAlumnus Posted Friday at 06:23 PM Report Posted Friday at 06:23 PM I'd like a signed one but season tickets would be hard to enjoy in Nashville. 1 Quote

kreed5120 Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago (edited) I'll probably sit this round out as this is the first piece of FTRC gear that I didn't really care for. The front of the shirt I like. I just don't care for the giant logo on the back. I get that's part of their branding. I just wish it was smaller and on the sleeve or something. It reminds me of the countless free Akron t-shirts I already own from giveaways. Edited 17 hours ago by kreed5120 Quote
