Virginia 23 Cornell 30 Marquette 31 St. John's 37 Wake Forest 41 St. Louis 45 Providence 55 Dayton 72 (Dayton's only loss is to Akron - record of 6-1-3) Villanova 75 UConn 113 Seton Hall 117 DePaul 131 Robert Morris 144 Army 152 Butler 160 Cleveland State 171 With WVU at #23 and us having the lead at the time, it is a shame that game didn't get to play out to conclusion. That could have been a really nice road victory. And with Army and Butler both sitting at 150+, those ties feel like losses, especially given that both were at home. Zip_ME87 Posted October 9 Report Posted October 9 (edited) @csims0917 My understanding is that the NCAA treats a No Contest (WVU game) for the most part as though it never happened / was never scheduled; it does not affect SOS, RPI, or any stats (unsure about any yellow or red cards). TennZip Posted yesterday at 01:05 AM Author Report Posted yesterday at 01:05 AM Thursday October 15 Creighton and Xavier finished in a 1-1 tie. I believe that both teams now have 2 wins and 3 ties. Hopefully, Georgetown will win against Creighton when the two teams play. Xavier dominated the statistics in tonight’s game. 18-5 on shots 7-4 on SOG 7-3 in corner kicks Quote

It could be argued that a Xavier win would've been better for our Midwest division hopes but I think a draw is probably better in terms of our RPI. Quote
MDZip Posted yesterday at 03:04 AM Report Posted yesterday at 03:04 AM The Xavier game may well decide the Midwest Division. The other three opponents still remaining for the ZIPs have won a total of one game combined. They need to win all three. 1 Quote
TennZip Posted 7 hours ago Author Report Posted 7 hours ago Friday October 16 UConn 1 Marquette 0 Butler 2 Villanova 1 St. John's and DePaul played 90 minutes with no goals Georgetown 4 Seton Hall 0 It appears that the Big East standings have already been updated https://www.bigeast.com/standings.aspx?path=msoc schedule for Next week league games Xavier 2-0-3 at Akron 1-1-3 Georgetown 5-0-0 at Villanova 0-4-1 Marquette 1-4-0 at DePaul 1-1-2 St. John's 1-1-2 at Seton Hall 1-1-2 Providence 0-2-2 at UConn 2-2-0 Butler 1-1-2 at Creighton 2-0-3 Creighton's last 3 games are Butler (Oct 24) ; at Georgetown on October 30 ; home game vs. DePaul (Nov 6) Akron's last 3 games are Xavier and road games at Villanova (Oct. 31) and Marquetter (Nov. 6) Xavier's last 3 games are at Akron ; host UConn on October 31 ; and at Butler on Nov. 6 For the zips to have any chance of winning the Midwest, they must get a win at home against Xavier and Georgetown needs to win against Creighton. at 9:50, Providence moved up from 51 to 46....in RPI....after tieing Akron. Akron is showing at 16. They were leaped today by Stanford. Stanford is now 15 in RPI after playing to a 0-0 tie with SMU (#1 in coaches poll ; #4 in RPI) 1 Quote
