Virginia 23 Cornell 30 Marquette 31 St. John's 37 Wake Forest 41 St. Louis 45 Providence 55 Dayton 72 (Dayton's only loss is to Akron - record of 6-1-3) Villanova 75 UConn 113 Seton Hall 117 DePaul 131 Robert Morris 144 Army 152 Butler 160 Cleveland State 171 With WVU at #23 and us having the lead at the time, it is a shame that game didn't get to play out to conclusion. That could have been a really nice road victory. And with Army and Butler both sitting at 150+, those ties feel like losses, especially given that both were at home. Zip_ME87 Posted October 9 Report Posted October 9 (edited) @csims0917 My understanding is that the NCAA treats a No Contest (WVU game) for the most part as though it never happened / was never scheduled; it does not affect SOS, RPI, or any stats (unsure about any yellow or red cards). TennZip Posted October 16 Author Report Posted October 16 Thursday October 15 Creighton and Xavier finished in a 1-1 tie. I believe that both teams now have 2 wins and 3 ties. Hopefully, Georgetown will win against Creighton when the two teams play. Xavier dominated the statistics in tonight’s game. 18-5 on shots 7-4 on SOG 7-3 in corner kicks Quote

It could be argued that a Xavier win would've been better for our Midwest division hopes but I think a draw is probably better in terms of our RPI. Quote
MDZip Posted October 16 Report Posted October 16 The Xavier game may well decide the Midwest Division. The other three opponents still remaining for the ZIPs have won a total of one game combined. They need to win all three. 1 Quote

Akron is showing at 16. They were leaped today by Stanford. Stanford is now 15 in RPI after playing to a 0-0 tie with SMU (#1 in coaches poll ; #4 in RPI) 1 Quote

72 Roo Posted Tuesday at 02:07 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 02:07 AM The thing that impressed me about Georgetown was that they were solid at every position. Not one weakness. They didn't have any particular "world beaters" at any position, but they were damn good at every place on the field. They parlayed that into playing as a team with a unified vision and complete understanding of what they were coached to do. They are the best team I have seen in the last two years. The outcome against Pitt does not surprise me. 1 Quote

The outcome against Pitt does not surprise me. I will be absolutely shocked if Georgetown is not playing in the College cup. When they played Akron, they generated offense from both sides of the field. I don't know if it was wingers or outside backs, but they were so dangerous from the wings. They are at another level among big east teams. When they played Providence, they beat the Friars 6-1. The scores in their 5 big east games are 3-0 3-1 6-1 3-0 4-0 they play Villanova next.....they could put up a touchdown and a field goal Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted yesterday at 03:34 AM Report Posted yesterday at 03:34 AM Wherever Georgetown is seeded in the NCAA Tourney, I hope Akron is on the other side of the bracket. Quote
