UMass did upset Rutgers 37-21. First FBS win since 2024. Good for them. Fly the Flag! They might not be such a pushover this year.

No, I'd say they won't be.  Their first FBS home win will be their first since 2021.

Pop Watson is tough!

Apparently, not all Virginia Tech transfer QBs are made equal.

19 of 22 for 197 yards and 3 TDs with no interceptions along with 6 carries for 40 yards - VERY impressive.

EMU looks like a typical EMU team from the past few years. It’s definitely a winnable game.

We need to beat EMU at home. They lost to San Jose last night on the gray grass.

That's one way of looking at it.

It will be a mid-November Wednesday Maction game in Amherst, maybe with someone's bowl hopes on the line.

wake forest is putting it to purdue 20-10. maybe they are going to be a decent team?

Going to OT. On par with the bottom of the B1G is about what I expected. Still means they can win 6-7 in the ACC.

unlv lost 44-6 to north texas

Unlv had 203 passing and 98 rushing...  ( unlv qb arnold was -11 rushing he usually is a good rusher)

*** unlv gave up 4 sacks

Hoping they make it a noon kickoff to help that, too!

I think the game time should be announced today, as it's listed as a 12-day wildcard selection and today is 12 days from the game.

I googled it out of curiosity and it is said that it still had not been announced however this popped up on gametime

https://gametime.co/college-football/rebels-at-zips-tickets/9-25-2026-akron-oh-info-cision-stadium/events/69c2f17e0c445ceb7d500267

showing that you can purchase tickets and that the game is set for an 8 pm kickoff which is not even the right day because it says that it is September 25 which is Friday?

The New York Times says that the game time is Saturday the 26th at 1 pm... that sounds more realistic at least...

too bad we didn't play couple of these other teams this year !!!

We do have CMU and Buffalo. And half the teams are MAC teams. 😔 But good news, we're not on the list. 👍
